Didn't last a month
Didn't last a month. Big design problem that could be easily fixed. Water got under the water container and blew the electronics. On this type of water fountain if power is lost theres no water, which i realised before i brought but didn't realise when the power comes back on the pump doesn't automatically start, you have to manually press the button or use the app so after a power cut can be a lot longer your pet goes without water while your out. But the main problem is water get to the electronics under the water container. I wired the pump straight to the pump to find out why this was happening, and because i didn't like the fact that the pump wouldn't automatically restart after power cut, i didn't return for a replacement. After getting the pump running again i found out why the water was getting into the electronics. The top tray doesn't tilt forward enough end a little water gets down the back where the pump contacts are and then onto the circuit board and all over the floor by the end of the day. I lifted the back of the unit 5mm from the floor and this stopped the problem. Im missing the uv light but having the pump start automatically on power up is more important to me, so didn't go for a replacement. I wouldn't recommend this product as it has too many issues the manufacturer needs to sort out.

Easy to set up & cat likes it!
We noticed our cat water was getting gross looking every day, then saw the culprit... Our lil black cat would sit by the bowl, stick his paw in the water and stir it before drinking!! We ran this fountain next to the bowl and let him get used to both, when we knew the fountain was going down faster than the bowl, we took away the bowl. We were all home and he has another bowl. He was used to this super fast. We are definitely replacing his other water bowl too. I set it to run the UV for 5 mins every morning. Then I run it again when we top up and change the filters. The WiFi settings are pretty easy to understand. If we are heading out we leave extra water though, it's winter here and we are pretty rural, our power can trip a lot in bad weather... This leave the fountain off... While we are home it's fine, we know it's going to still stay off when the power returns. Atm we don't leave the house, but we will leave the monkey extra water when we are free to leave the house again. It is quiet to run, but if you notice the water sounds louder, top it up! We noticed ours gets louder the further the water falls. It's been a great swap. If I could change 1 thing... The plug in the back means it can't sit right against the skirting boards, so it sticks out a little further than if the plug were angled or on the side. But that's just a very minor thing.

Doesn't live up to the hype
I bought this because my dog often runs out of water and I feel awful because I don't realise her bowl is empty. Also I like the idea that filtered water is better for them. The instructions are awful and not very clear. I've had it running for about a week now and it still hasn't notified me when my dog is low on water and i don't know what I'm doing wrong and the instructions are no help at all. It also just randomly stopped working and my husband and daughter had to put a bit of tin foil in it so it connected properly and the water started flowing freely again. I have to be honest I had high hopes for this product but am left very disappointed at the extra expense and waste of money.

Safety hazard. Please be aware.
I really liked this product but after 3 months or so I have a few reservations. First it starts to change colour but that might be due to chlorine in the water. Nevertheless the white becomes blue. And today it broke. I am an electronic engineer and wanted to fix it but when I opened apart I realised how dangerous this product can be to the point that it can be a hazard and actually think thereโs some safety issues with this product. Water leaked to the bottom and it had soaked the very Chinese protection and electrical components were just bathing in water. This is serious guys and a massive design flaw. I canโt recommend this product for the safety of the user.

Potential fire hazard
I have gone through a number of these fountains and something went wrong with all of them, not the same thing mind you. but since i've gone through a number of these 4/5 of them, here's my lowdown. This thing is a house fire waiting to happen. water somehow pools at the bottom..where the power comes in , I can only imagine it's a pinhole leak in the water tank or the pump is managing to spray the water into the housing....I have no idea. all i do know is water gets into the housing with the uvc bulb, not led, bulb. the smart features are great. but it's akin to putting go faster stripes on a skip.....thats on fire.

It's good but my cat wasn't interested.
I bought this as another fountain for upstairs so my cat can have water while she's upstairs. It's silent, the only sound is the water and that's only if I am being quiet. The smart functions work well and with the app I just pressed the button and the water switched on and off. It took a few days for my cat to get used to it. After much sniffing and a test drink I think she preffered the flower fountain downstairs and didn't take much notice of it after that. So I decided to return it.

Please do not buy this dangerous product.
At first, absolutely brilliant. Could turn it on or off via the app, worked with Alexa but then, not even 2 weeks later, its just stopped working. I took it apart and found that the power lead had rusted in the port due to it leaking. It could have caused a fire. So dangerous and should not be bought.
