Nice Simmer Pot
Bought this for simmering pot pourri on the stovetop. Holds up well and looks attractive in a 'rustic' way.

Should work for what I intended
I bought this for camping. It is heavy pan and most Stansport stuff is good quality. I bought this because I wanted something lighter than a cast iron pot. Haven't used it wet but I can't see it not working for what I bought it for.

Amazon delivery LIES; fortunately, cookpots aren't water soluble
Cute little pot, oddly configured with a single loop handle on one side. I was going to post to ask if I had a mutant pot, but the product photos do show a handle on one side, and none on the other. I'm planning to use this pot for baking small loaves of bread, so this size looks just right for my purposes. (Standard recommended size for bread is 4.5 to 5 quarts.)I wish there was a way to post a star rating for Amazon's delivery service, which persists (despite complaints) in recording delivery as "It was handed directly to a resident" when the package was actually left in the driveway. At least this time it wasn't raining hard. It would be nice if, like UPS or USPS, Amazon delivery people would deliver packages to the front door and ring the bell. At least there should be some sort of opt-in text or email notification, like UPS has, so that a customer knows that a package scheduled for delivery on Tuesday has actually been dropped off on Sunday. I can deal with the concept of not getting out of the truck and walking 20 feet; I have issues with the lack of truthfulness in messaging.

Great cooking pot!
Replacing my 20 year old one, best non stick pot ever, just remember to cook on a lower heat, the pot has an amazing capacity to cook everything evenly on low heat, that way you do not scorch the bottom and have to scrape it clean. If you get a scorch put soapy water and boil and use a sponge and spoon to clean bottom do not use anything abrasive on inside bottom of pot... you want to keep that enamel on and just lower you heat next time you cook. Pot should last me another 20 years, and goes camping with me too... I recommend this cook ware to all...

and used a wooden spoon to loosen the burnt parts and it worked like a charm
The first time I used this pot, I burned the soup. It was probably attributed to user error (didn't stir it enough), but, the entire bottom of the pot was burnt. I thought it was ruined, but then I tried boiling 1 quart of water to 2 tbsps of baking soda, and used a wooden spoon to loosen the burnt parts and it worked like a charm! Looks brand new again...I'll try soup again and see what happens.

High quality
It's made of high quality, strong materials ... a rare find in this day and age. Looks like it will last a long time.
