How do I safely clean/sanitize my ocarina?

As far as I can know, you can gently wash the ocarina in warm soapy water, rinse and then air dry. Didn't try it, but have no reason to doubt it wouldn't work.

Would it be hard for a person who has only one hand to play?

good question. I think if I suddenly only had one hand, I would opt for a smaller ocarina with only 6 holes. to begin with anyway. For the Alto C ocarina, I find I need 2 hands to provide balance. Hope that helps.
