Bad Product
There was no pressure in the can. It would not even inflate a bicycle tire. Be careful there is no amazon refund or return with this item!

Saved me a tow!
I have a 2024 Model Y Performance and was always a little concerned about it never having a spare tire. As a result, I decided to pick up one of these fix a flats last week to keep in my trunk. I'm glad I did because literally a few days later I go out to my car in the morning and see a huge sheet metal screw sticking out of the tire and the car telling me that it's dangerously low tire pressure. After removing the screw I can see (and hear) that this tire is not going to hold any pressure and will need replacement. I needed my car back in action in a hurry and a tow was going to be crazy expensive and slow to arrive... I didn't know if the fix a flat would be able to work on a puncture of this size but I figured I would give it a shot. After following instructions I slowly drove it around for the 2 miles it said to and looked at the damage....still leaking...so after 15 minutes of coming to terms with my whole day being lost, I checked it again...no leak!...I topped it off with my portable inflator and waiting 10 more minutes....it was holding 38 psi without issue...so I proceeded to drive it to the Tesla service center 10 miles away and got a replacement tire within an hour and was able to go about my day...so this basically saved the day. Works but not reliable
So I originally wrote a 1 star review for this and then a few days later I realized I didn't publish it. My issue was that I think I got a dud can. I have a tire that goes completely flat after 24 hours and I can't get to replacing it for another week or so. So I tried this out... I jacked up the car and followed the instructions exactly. After screwing this on, it was evident that there was no way this was going to inflate my tire. The can had absolutely no pressure in it. It probably got a tablespoon amount of liquid into the tire before it just gave up and the pressure equalized. I disconnected and tried to shake the can again and see if I can activate whatever it is that pressurizes the can. Again no luck. After giving up, the can still felt like it was at least 90% full. So I inflated the tire the rest of the way with a compressor, drove a few miles for hood measure and then came home and parked the car. . At that point I was pissed and came inside and wrote the 1 star review. I haven't gone out in 3 days and then when I went out today expecting a flat tire, it still had full pressure. I guess that tiny amount of liquid that got in the tire did the trick. So I'll admit that this does in fact work well, but I would not trust it as an emergency flat fix because you run the risk of getting a dud that has no chance of inflating a flat tire.

Difficult to use and eventually hose end broke
I purchased this can of Fix-A-Flat to fix, what I believe, is a rim leak on my truck tire which needs to be filled once every week or so. When I attempted to use the product I let some air out of the tire (down to 25 psi) so it would be easier to dispense the contents. The instructions on the can say to have the valve on the tire at the 6 o'clock...which I did as well. When I attempted to make the connection using the swivel connector on the can's hose it was difficult. The hose on the can is very short and stiff and because it came coiled in the can's lid, did not want to straighten out making connecting it to the tire a very awkward process. It was hard to screw the hose end on the valve without it binding so it felt like it was cross-threading. I have machined aluminum valve caps and they go one very easily so I know the threads on the tire's valve stem are clean. I finally did get it on and when I attempted to dispense the contents it filled the hose but that was about it. I could not see any contents flowing thru the hose at all. I assumed it was not on far enough so I took it off to try again and the contents sprayed everywhere showing it was indeed under pressure....just not going into the tire. After multiple tries the hose end eventually just broke off and stayed on the tire's valve stem. I was able to get it off, but at this point the can is useless to me. Obviously I cannot and will not recommend this product. I have used this product before and had success, but that was when the hose was longer and wired to the side of the can making it much easier to use, versus how they are shipped now. I would recommend going with another product or possible going to a box store (which is what I plan to do) to find one that does not have this design. At the very least, if you do choose to disregard this review, I would try it with the tire's valve stem at the 3 or 9 o'clock position which might make it easier to thread the hose end on to the valve stem,. Also, if you choose to go this route you might just be throwing your money away. I attempted to get a refund from Amazon and was directed to the manufacture's web site. From there you are directed to use the 800 number of leave a general message that is in no way connected to your Amazon purchase. Past experience tells me it will not be an easy process so it looks like I am out the $12.

Messy, but best use is for slow leaks
Pumping a very sticky white substance into your tire is going to be clumsy and messy. Expect a little leakage from the tube, make sure that the can is securely connected to the tire nozzle, be sure to shake the can numerous times. When finished itโs critical you take the car for at least a 5 mile drive to move the liquid around the inside of the tire. Very good for emergency use, or if you have a really slow leak that cannot be fixed normal ways. It can securely clog the leak for a long time if used properly. Be sure to pump air into the tire when finished to the recommended inflation.
