I bought this to deep clean my granddaughter’s locs, and it did wonders. This was her first real detox, and the difference was noticeable right away — her locs looked cleaner, lighter, and refreshed. The smell is really nice too, which was a bonus while working the product through her hair. It mixed well, rinsed out easily, and didn’t leave any heavy residue behind. I’ll definitely keep this on hand for her regular maintenance.

Great product. Stripped my loc’s in the best of ways. Instructions on the product and website are easy to use. The product lefts my hair clean and smelling beautiful. My hair feels so light and I can feel my natural hair pattern again. 100% recommend especially if you don’t like the traditional methods and you want your hair smelling fabulous.

I've never tried this brand before, but I was overdue for a detox and took a chance. The smell is a strong tropical cleaner kind of smell. I wasn't the biggest fan, but I prefer it to the smell of ACV. I have shoulder length locs and I used 2-3 tablespoons in enough hot water to fill my inflatable sink. I soaked my hair for about 20 minutes, and the water afterward was definitely a little murky. I washed my locs after and noticed how soft and lightweight my hair felt. They're fluffier, if that makes sense lol the only con is that the bag is not as big as I thought. It's 8oz of powder, but if you soak your hair semi annually, or annually, this will last awhile. So if you use 2 tbsp per soak, you can get about 7 soaks a bag. Will stock up after I run out.

Photos are before and after. It does suggest to add ACV to it, so I did that the first time I soaked them. Not sure if it was the ACV or the solution, but the smell is definitely less harsh. The solution does look cloudy at first especially if you put in the ACV. The initial cloudiness is not as bad as after you soak your hair. Will be trying again in a few months without the ACV. The soak does work though. It made my hair lighter weight, and did get out some of the trapped dirt.

Worked well for my son’s dred locs. He said they feel much cleaner! I know they smell much better also (he sweats a lot due to his job).

Detox is great and always smell great! Can't go wrong with this product.

Highly recommended! These pics are after I’ve soaked for 20 minutes (5mins back, 5mins each side, 5 mins front). I workout a ton and live in a humid environment so I wash my hair quite frequently (after beach or long workouts on weekend). I try to detox once every few months and this has been a life saver. This goes beyond the regular washing of hair as you can immediately feel the difference afterwards (tingly deep clean feeling, with fresh scent, I also feel like my locs are lighter).
