WOW! Worked so much better than expected!
I'm naturally skeptical when it comes to almost anything these days. It seems that almost nothing lives up to the claims made by manufactures that can be purchased for what almost always turns out to be more money than something is worth. We purchased this with the slim hopes that it would be able to at least reduce the amount of water/moisture in our teenage children's soccer cleats after weekend long tournaments in weather that should have caused the tournaments cancellation. Their cleats are sometimes so waterlogged that hours and sometimes days later were still dripping wet, even after filling them with newspaper, paper towels, other internet baseless-claims of what to fill the cleats with and leaving them outside in the sun in order to dry them out. Upon ordering this dryer, I weighted and placed a pair of older cleats and a pair of regular running shoes in buckets of water and let them soak for the two days until the dryer arrived. When the dryer did arrive, I set it up, plugged it in and took the pair of cleats and running shoes out of their respective buckets and placed them on the dryer, then turned the dryer on, setting the timer to the full three hour limit and turning the heat option on. After one hour, I wasn't surprised to find the cleats and shoes still very wet, but after two I was pleasantly surprised to find that the cleats and shoes had been significantly dried but were still damp. And after the full three hours, I was blown away by the fact that the cleats and running shoes were 100% dry, free of any moisture and free of the normal old shoe smells. My experience with this dryer led me to buy a smaller size dryer (DryGuy Force Dry Boot Dryer), which I performed the same test on and had the same results, for traveling to soccer tournaments and for off-roading trips. I took both dryers with me for a weekend ATV/UTV trip. And I was glad that I did. It rained all weekend long and my friends and I used them to dry our soaking boots out every night after riding all day in non-stop rain and lots of water fording. They easily handled drying out eight pairs of motorcycle and hiking boots and pretty much ran all night long doing so. This dryer and the Dryguy dryer get a lot of use and have never let me down. Very rarely am I this happy with any purchase I've made for anything. Especially something of this nature.

3+ years of daily use and I still absolutely love it!
This dryer is a dream. I have $300 leather knee-high boots. They’re waterproof - great for rainy days, horseback riding, and winter snow. But by the end of the day they are damp inside from perspiration. This boot dryer is a must. I wouldn’t dream of taking off my boots and not putting them on this dryer. Every morning my boots are dry and fresh. Zero clammy damp feeling. Zero foot odor. Just fresh dry warm boots that are lasting longer than any other pair before, now that I have this machine to dry them. This dryer is sturdy, blows a strong airflow, has an optional warm temp setting (which I love when I’m headed out in the cold), and has worked perfectly everyday for 3+ years. If I go to a friend’s house for the night in the winter I take this with me - that’s how much I love it! Friends always comment how much they like it and want one.

Drying fabric walking shoes after getting them pretty wet in the fall morning dew takes about an ...
Received it a few weeks ago. Seems to work really well drying out walking shoes and gloves. At first, I thought it was not working, as the fan didn't seem to be putting out much air, and it didn't seem to be very warm. But after using it, I realized that it was blowing correctly, and that the heat really is there. It's just that it heats and blows lightly, not forcefully. It heats up to 105*, and it takes a little while to heat up, so it has not overheated anything.Drying fabric walking shoes after getting them pretty wet in the fall morning dew takes about an hour. I put the gloves on at the same time. I read here somewhere about covering the unused stands with a baggie and some rubber bands. That does work well, as there is no way to cap off the unused stands.I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I have not tried to dry leather winter boots with it yet. I think it will work good, and I'll post again as I get the chance to use it with heavier footwear.I have already recommended it to a couple of friends.Edit 12/16/16: Now that I've had the chance to use it on heavy leather work boots, I'm going to change my rating to 5 star. It takes about 1.5 - 2 hrs to dry them when they are pretty wet, and that's just what I needed.

I love this!
We will never go another winter without one of these! My husband is a blue collar worker and in the grain industry. He is always coming home dirty and most of the time with wet boots. The dryer completely dries them and he loves to put on warm boots on a cold winter day. I have also put gloves and hats on the drier after a day in the snow and it is a life saver! The dryer does have a timer, so it will shut off after so long. This makes it great to turn on and then go to bed. I usually let the boots run for two 90 minute cycles, just to ensure they are dry. We also put his dirt bike / moto boots on the dryer after races and it works wonderfully! You can really put any type of shoe or clothing item on the dry and it will work great!

Best boot dryer!
Have had the boot dryer for about two months already and I’m happy to say I am very pleased, works really well and is durable, even when I put my wet muddy, 12” tall leather boots on the dryer it still stands tall, I keep mine in the garage to keep away from the noise, other than that for the first boot dryer I’ve ever bought, in glad it was this one! And I use this daily, with no issues. Dry boots every time! Would definitely buy again, well worth the money

Couldn't live without it now...
This boot dryer works so good keeps my footware fresh, dry and my footware seems last forever now that I keep things dry. I use this year round especially like being able to do heat or no heat ive found stuff dries fast even with no heat. I use them all summer for my running shoes and cycling shoes and I dry my expensive socks on this with no heat to avoid wearing them out and shrinking them in the dryer. I'm very pleased with this item. I also have a Peet dryer I've been using for years that I still like but I seem to use this one more it's more stable and I like putting my socks on with my shoes after I wash them. Also my footware doesn't seem to get the funky foot odors anymore keeping them air fresh on this after a run or a ride.

Dries really well
Best thing I ever bought from Amazon! It dried my socks in no time, gloves too. Sopping wet shoes took about an hour to 90 minutes. There is a noise from the fan being on, but not bothersome. Heat is just enough but not too hot. No chance of melting my stuff.
