This thing is WAY louder than I expected it to be. It also sounds like a legit train horn. I love it. It was a direct plug and play to my tiny factory horn on my Honda grom clone. This thing is amazing, I might get 2 and put them on my truck!!

These are definitely louder than the Stebel Nautilus I replaced these with. Tone is also higher pitched, like a shriek. These are NOT "150 db" from a distance that we would use on a daily basis, however. IF they are, they would cause terrible hearing damage. But if you look at the marketing of all the other brands (Hella, Stebel, etc), their 118, 120, 130db ratings are measured from INCHES away from the unit. Stebel rates their 130+db Nautilus at 110db at 2 meters (a little over 6 feet away). Construction is very similar to the Stebel. Time will tell if these will last - the Stebel lasted about 10 years before the pump seized up. For the money, if these last even 5 years of regular use, it would be worth it IMO.

I expected this horn to be loud. It's not any louder than my original car horn. However it was easy to wire in to my existing horn wiring and it does have a cool sound. It's just not that loud.

As always I read the reviews before I purchased and there is always 1 bad one, but this thing is the bomb. Instructions are through, I installed it on a motorcycle so the wires were the perfect length, if I had installed it on a pickup I can see where the positive wire may need extended. It's super loud, whoever says its the same or just a little better than the horn they are replacing must of had a good horn to begin with, it's not as loud as a dual horn semi but is definitely louder than a single horn on a semi, I know because I have both, Im going to replace my electric horns on my trucks with this one, it's that loud!!!!! You wont be disappointed.

Perfect to replace the ridiculous OEM horn on my 07' Miata MX5! Didn't even have to cut any wires just unplugged the old horn mounted this one with included bolt and hardware, plugged in the power lead and mounted the ground....done! Super loud! Just what I was looking for and doesn't tke up a lot of real estate!

This horn REALLY BLOWS!!! BARELY!!! (haha, pun intended) I have bought this type of horn from a different manufacturer several times and all of the ones I bought from that manufacturer were great and plenty loud. However, this horn, from this manufacturer, is so weak that instead of blowing, it SUCKS!!! (once again, haha, pun intended) The factory horn in this vehicle was louder than this hunk of junk. Heck, I think my daughter's bicycle horn is louder than this thing. I bought this one because it was a couple dollars cheaper and delivery was promised a couple days sooner. I wish I hadn't let my penny pinching and impatience get the better of me. Don't blow your money on this horn. (oh, how do you like that? for the 3rd time in one review - haha pun intended)

Right off the bat, this was an easy install following the diagram. It is a fairly compact design but still took a little planning to find a decent home. As to be expected, yes it is louder than a stock horn and yes sounds similar to a train horn. Just don't expect that deep blow your eardrum effect, It's a plastic horn and it doesn't break your wallet! One thing I will point out, there is a half second delay compared to your stock horn. Remember, power has to activate the relay switch and charge the air compression.

The horn needs a lot of room to be able to install it. I have Installed this on two vehicles, the wires going to the battery ( hot and negative ) are cheap copper , the holes need to be bigger as well. If you want to connect to battery terminals. The two wires that connected to your original car horn are extremely short. . You will need to add more wire with this set up, and more end connectors. The horn its self is loud. It's just the setting up and Installing could be a lot better

Straight forward install with all the wiring. Nice and loud. Great value. What more can you ask for.

Ich habe etwas suchen müssen, eh ich einen Platz (an einem 1.000qcm Quad) für diese nicht grade kleine Hupe gefunden habe. Der elektrische Anschluss könnte etwas schwierig, für einen Laien, werden. An der Qualität gibt es nichts zu beanstanden. Und!! sie ist wirklich laut, hat dennoch einen guten Klang. 100% Kaufempfehlung.

The product is not durable. Only used it a handful of times and still went broken after multiple blows while I had a situation where someone blocked my driveway and had to honk the horn to warn the driver. This product is no good, totally crap, waste of money..
