Matte Foundation Bisque

I absolutely LOVE Studio Gear, especially the foundations. I have been using their products for over 10 years, since I first found them at ULTA. I am constantly getting compliments on my great skin and as cliche as it sounds, I'm fully convinced its because of this foundation. The colors blend very well to create a natural look, especially when paired with their pressed powder.As much as I hated to do it, I knocked a star off of this review because the foundation I received wasn't as creamy as I'm used to. I'm not sure if they changed the Matte formula, but I'm definitely going back to the flawless. At this point, I would recommed it over the Matte.My only other complaint is if I'm not careful and get low or run out, I'm left waiting for a shipment. I really wish Studio Gear was stocked at a chain store in those times!

I used to use this product and loved it, but it was always a little too dark. Now I have white foundation I use to lighten it, but it just doesn’t mix right. On its own, I would absolutely recommend.

My daughter has been using this makeup for years ... since her acne and scars days! She's now 24 and still prefers this makeup to any other. It is great for her skin, which tends to oily. I've noticed how smooth and non-shiny her skin appears when she wears this makeup. It smooths her skin-tone and looks natural when applied. It is still light enough for her age, yet full-coverage enough that it hides her tonal imperfections due to having had bad acne.My younger daughter (now 20) prefers the Flawless style. On her skin type (non-oily), the bit of youthful sheen it gives her looks great on her. She never had an acne problem, and has no scars. I mention that because I think that if you're a woman of a certain age, you probably don't want a shiny foundation base. And if you need a full coverage foundation without looking like you've caked it on, then this matte foundation is perfect for you! :D

Never before have i received so many compliments on my 'skin' since i purchased this foundation. The coverage is natural looking but the color matches are darn near perfect to my skin color. i work in an office with bright flourescent lights and at least once per week someone sees my skin up close and says it looks great. i have given the name of this product to at least a dozen friends. it does also have a great under eye concealer and loose powder also made by Studio Gear. i have very dark circles under my eyes and this is the one product that does a great job covering uneven skin without looking too heavy or like i am wearing my mother's make up! i have worn this foundation for about 5+ years and will continue to wear it as long as they make it.

My absolute favorite foundation. It's not cakey, does not make your face oily, and I have very sensitive skin prone to breakouts, and this does not cause any breakouts. I initially bought this at Ulta and they stopped carrying it. I tried Urban Decay Naked foundation which also works well, but they're always out if my shade. I then tried Stila and that was the worst thing I could've done. Fifty five dollars on foundation that felt disgusting on my face. Studio Gear is the best and the price is great for such a great product!

Daughter has used this foundation for years. Does reasonably well for her, though has shine breakthrough, does not cause irritation, great color choices, easy to apply and no sun screen. This is a plus as some of us have difficulty with sunscreen and prefer to apply separately. Glass bottle is the major down side. Order here because unable to find locally at retail outlets.
