Had to take my phone out of its case because of having a pop socket. It won’t fit otherwise. Am I disappointed? A little, but when i did put my phone in the holder I was happy to finally have a good solution for holding my phone. The renegade definitely offers little in the way of phone holder options.The clip that attaches to the area between the vents is pretty rigid. I had to use more pressure than I would have liked to. I was afraid it was going to break. But it didn’t and it’s secure! I just tried to remove it and it’s resisting so much that I’m not even going to try for risk of breaking something.All in all, I’m happy with it. It’s a bit pricey but there just isn’t a whole lot of viable options out there for us renegade owners.

I recently got a 2021 Renegade and while it does have phone connectivity on the touchscreen, I wanted to explore my options for a proper phone mount. Most of the ones I found were the over the vent option using adhesive, which felt a bit too intrusive for my needs since ideally, I'd want it to be easy to remove when not in use. This looked like it would do the job and while I was a bit leery once I saw the product in person, it seems to work well.The part that clips between the air vents is pretty minimal and wouldn't stand out much if you removed the phone mount. When I first saw the piece, it didn't seem as fitted as I expected, but it clicked into place and seems to be a firm grip. The mount attaches to this by popping a ball socket and then screwing a piece to tighten it, locking the phone's position in place. Even with the phone mount, it was not very obstructive so I have yet to attempt to remove it, but it felt like it would not be difficult to unscrew and pop off the ball socket, though I could see this causing wear/damage if done too often.As for the phone mount itself, I have a Pixel 6 and it manages to hold it adequately. The gravity locking can grasp the bottom and both sides with reasonable snugness, but the side can press the volume down if it aligns wrong. It is possible that this or the mount itself could run into issues with driving, especially on bumpy roads, but from my experience so far it seems relatively secure. I even was able to fit it with a cable in the bottom, though I had to attach the cable then put it in the mount.

Looks nice but had to install with Alien tape due to the pieces to hold in breaking off instantly. Not very sturdy either.

I’m glad to have ordered and installed this mobile phone holder for my Jeep Renegade. Perfect fit for the perfect area.The one thing that would give it that “5th” star would be the place of the side brackets.When I place my iPhone 13 pro in this holder the right bracket had a tendency to hit the sleep/wake button and the left bracket hits the volume up button. So I have to be gentle when placing the phone.I’d also like it to grip a bit more for when I’m sitting in my car during lunch watching videos. I like to turn it landscape but can’t because it slips out.It’s great fit, installation, portrait… just needs a few tweaks.

The best thing about this phone holder is that it doesn't stick up or out and make the dash ugly. It clips onto the space between vents and it's on there very securely, there's no play or wiggle. The actual phone holder comes off and leaves just the base, which is small and unobtrusive.The phone holder is pretty good. You drop the phone in, and the arms close on the phone. I don't have a bulky case on my phone but it barely fits in the holder. Chunkier cases or possibly phones with pop out things on the back might not fit. Very big phones also might not fit. My A52 with case is a tight fit.I recommend this phone holder, I'm happy with it and glad I found it.

I've been looking for a minimalistic phone mount that wasn't going to cost me an arm and a leg (like the magnetic ones) and rolled the dice on this one. Super easy to install, or remove for that matter. In fact, I love that it uses clips rather than double sided tape or suction...both of which fail over time or leave a mess once removed. The only complain is it uses the weight of the phone on the bottom rest point to close the sides around the phone, so turning it sideways is a bit awkward in terms of stability. if you only use your phone in portrait mode, then no issues at all.

Got this today. Took a quick minute to put in. Fits perfectly in my 2017 Jeep Renegade Latitude. I have a case on my iphone 11 and it holds it just fine. I'm 4'10" and it does not interfere with my line of sight while driving. Time will tell if its worth the money, but so far, driving on back WV country roads there was no wobble what so ever.

Flimsy material prone to braking at the clips, ball not a normal sies to put anything elce on it.
