Will these trash bags fit a simple human size q trash bag?

These do not fit the 21 Gallon trash can. I bought them from reading reviews that they do but was disappointed that they did not.

Will these fit my Ninestars 21 gallon can?

No! These bags do NOT fit around the top of a 20 gallon trash can. They do fit around a standard 13 gallon can tho. They're falsely advertised as XL but the only thing xl about then is the inside of the bag! They do not stretch around the opening of any 20 gallon cans.

How big around is the opening of the bag?

Not very big... small diameter, but tall trash bag. I thought I was buying regular trash bags

$7 at the store. Why are these $30+ on amazon?

My local H‑E‑B has a 30 count for $7.77. These are the only bags I use and when the pandemic was at its peak, my local stores were all sold out so I paid $30 for the 80cnt here. Way overpriced.
