Adorable show, reasonably hard to find anime
I remember back in like 2008, you could watch this whole anime on Youtube. But, times have changed and, when I went searching for this anime to show a friend, I couldn’t find it mirrored online anywhere. So, I figured I ought to try and buy it. Even then, this seems to be the only physical copy I could find in this country. I’m glad I scooped this up! Who knows how much longer it will be available before this disappears and becomes irrelevant? But I think this cute little anime is timeless. Very simple children’s programming but anyone who loves cute or Kuwaiti culture can get enjoyment out of this. I am 31 years old and I still love to revisit this every time and again. So, get it while you can, because this may not last forever and then it will be truly difficult to watch this cute little gem in this country.

Watch this show if you're feeling down
This anime is absolutely wholesome. The subtitles are written to reflect Chi's personality so you'll see lots of L's and R's being replaced by W's. It'll make you laugh and pull your heartstrings at the same time. Too bad this show isn't available for streaming on crunchyroll so you'll have to buy the DVD, but it's worth it!

Situational comedy with lovable characters
I initially saw the newer version of this show so when I got this it was somewhat of a surprise. For anyone confused there ARE English subtitles at the bottom. I was surprised at how little seems to happen in the episodes in comparison from the newer seasons. It was somewhat annoying that after something happens the theme song begins/it's a new episode, but that's how the show used to be. And on the flip side, it was cool to see how the show version started out. Some of the dialogue between the parents is totally relatable and funny.

Great Title, but Captions Need Spellchecking
This is a great title, but the DVD has room for improvement. First, the DVD case is really thin and flimsy; for the price, I expect a more durable case. The DVD menu doesn't have an Options section, so subtitles are always on and in English. Normally this is okay for a Region 1 DVD, except the captions have several spelling errors. Just to pick the most blatant spelling error, 'milk' is misspelled 'miulk'. Even when translating Japanese to English, milk is never spelled with an 'u'.

So cute.
I got this for my baby (and kinda for me). It’s super cute. Japanese audio with English subtitles. There’s an option on the DVD menu to see the first episode with English audio. The only thing that I don’t like is the subtitles translating the baby talk. I.e. “Let’s pway.” instead of “Let’s play.”

Must have for cat lovers
The subtitles baby-fy Chi's speech, which is annoying, but regardless this is a wonderful series that is comfy yet heartfelt.

I love Chi's Sweet Home
I love Chi's Sweet Home. While the cartoon is self explanatory - it's about a cat, after all - it does make it slightly less enjoyable that there are no English Subtitles and I don't speak Japanese.

Sweet, Sweet Chi!
I LOVE the Chi series. We have been collecting the Chi books over time. Great story with fun memorable characters. Fun for kids of all ages! My whole family reads the Chi books. Great way to get kids into books who may not be crazy about reading.
