Natural and perfect
I love this product! I was looking for a natural product to add fiber to my diet and this is perfect! I use less to get even better benefits than the typical fiber addives. It has no taste that I can detect, and dissolves quickly.

Great for healthy gut
I got this because fiber plays such an important role in many processes of your body. Inulin is a type of fiber that feeds the microbiome as well as slows insulin spikes and allows your body to more appropriately process sugar. I really love this inulin it's a fair price and lasts a really long time. Fair warning, start with a small ammount because it causes gas. The longer you use it the less that happens.

Good for what ails you
If you just take it as a fiber supplement it works. It's also sweet so in small amounts you could use it as a sweetener in a pinch. But basically according to the literature is you would eat pickled food like kimchi or pickles as a probiotics and then take this afterwards and together they maintain gut health. It basically clears you of bad bacteria and encourages the growth of the good bacteria we need to digest our food. I must assume it works because this along with psyllium and some slippery elm compound have tended to control my colitis. The American Indians and others used slippery elm to do the exact same thing. There's something to be said about pre pharmaceutical giant companies times. The basic ingredients often work better than the synthesized white powder they turn into pills. This is why you will see lots of the medical industry and the pharmaceutical giants dismissing ancient remedies. It's because they work! Don't pay $60 to $100 for a little jar of pills with these kind of ingredients being sold by snake oil salesman. You see the ads everywhere. If you look closely you'll see that the actual ingredients are miniscule and that most of it is filler. By this stuff in bulk and keep it in a dry place.

Recommend
Used to make L.reuteri yogurt. Might just be me but a bit difficult to get completely mixed but yogurt turns out fine.

Works great
My husband and I use this in our morning tea as a prebiotic and anti-constipation supplement. It disolves easily in hot liquid. It imparts a slightly sweet flavor but not overly noticeable. It does cause flatulence.
