It will only go on a halter or headstall. I do not turn my horses out in halters or headstalls.

This is the best thing I purchased in a long time. The ears are protected from the little nats. The fringes are think enough to keep the bugs out of their eyes, but they can see though it. It is like having a long forelock. Since I purchased the the first one, I have bought 3 more for the other horses! And my BFF got one too!
