Molding is pliable and easy to work with

I had to dimension the T molding down about 3/32nds because I was installing between vinyl flooring and carpet and I didn’t want to take a chance routing the subfloor for fear of catching the carpet. I setup my Rigid oscillating belt sander with a fence to get the desired dimension. One stick didn’t really want to accept the stain evenly but in the end it wasn’t really noticeable. I used Locktite all purpose adhesive and shot 1” 18ga brads about every 12”. The radius turned out great, just make sure that the room you’re working in is warm as well as the molding.

This was just what I needed for a transition between my kitchen and dining room due to an “S” curve. It was flexible enough to handle the job.

I would have given the trim 5 stars (as a perfect, and the only available solution for curves - impossible to find anything of the kind on the market) if it were not for the texture. After we tinted it, it started showing dark circular marks (as if left by a circular sander, not initially visible before you add some color).We had to sand the the upper layer - eventually stripping it of its wood grain texture, unfortunately, and tint it again, otherwise it would have ended in the garbage. We do have consistent color across the whole thing now, but at expense of loosing the grain texture. Disappointing.

Took the paint very well. Easy to cut and install. Had uneven threshold and this worked great for tile to laminate transition. Inspect trim closely, piece was flawed on one end.

It worked great for a curved transition strip from kitchen to dining room.

The media could not be loaded.  We purchased this product because we could not find anything else in the market that would work with a round entry. It came without any stain, but we got it because it was advertised that it could be stained to match your floor. But as we found out, that’s not really the case. Due to the rubber material, it will not take the stain. The very little that showed, began accentuating dark spots that were not visible before adding the stain. We followed the recommendation to use a gel stain, that didn’t work. The piece was wiped clean and kept in the ziplock bag it was shipped in until we were ready to satin. So now we have a piece that cannot be stained and it just looks like it’s dirty. So I would reconsider a different product if you need to stain and match the floor. But if you just need a flexible transition, then it works great. But beware that unless you seal it somehow, it will begin to show footprints 👎🏻

Used this as a temporary transition between laminate and tile so I just cut it and placed it, but if I had bothered to stain it and secure it probably would prefer this over the laminate strips that finally went in. It’s sturdy but soft to step on and didn’t move even without securing it.
