These shrimp will be a great addition to any sized aquarium from the 3 gallon to the 180 gallon aquarium. The fully matured female will breed soon after she molts, at this time she will release pheromones into the water signaling to any male picking up on the scent that there is a female in need of a mate, the male shrimp will be seen swimming through the water in search of the female shrimp. Add these to your already established cleaning crew or start putting one together with a few of these. Red cherry shrimp are also a great way to add some vibrant color to any planted tank. These shrimps are useful when adding color to your planted tank.
