Underthings to keep you dry
These are terrific for anyone who needs some light-weight, quick-drying, wicking underwear. They take up very little space in a backpack or suitcase, and they really do dry in a matter of hours after being washed in the sink. On a moderately humid day here in Oregon, my indoor dry time was around three hours. In a dry climate or in the sun they'd take practically no time at all, and even in a very humid climate, I think that if you left 'em hanging overnight while you slept, you'd have dry undies to wear on the morrow. They also wick like crazy, which makes them great for hiking or athletic activities. Sweat all you want down there, you'll still stay dry. I'd particularly recommend these for people traveling to the tropics, where keeping the bits dry is important to stave off fungal nasties. The waistband is wide, non-scratchy, and lies flat. It's comfortable against the skin, and the elastic and stitching look very durable -- which is particularly important if you're going to be washing them frequently. I've not yet had these very long, but from the look and feel of the elastic, I'll be shocked if it gives out on me.On top of all of that, these are just really comfortable. I've always worn cotton underwear and was dubious about how the synthetic would feel next to my skin, but I needn't have worried -- they feel great. In fact, if they weren't so expensive, I'd be tempted to replace most of my old cotton underwear with these briefs.A few notes on fit:1. The rise on these briefs is pretty high. This is a great style for backpacking, since it means that your hip belt will probably hit below the waist band, but if you prefer a lower rise, you might want to check out the Give-N-Go Sport Brief, which is the same material but with a more contemporary cut.2. A few reviewers have commented that this brand runs a little small in the crotch. As a woman who prefers men's underwear (compare the quality of the fabric, stitching, and elastic on two pairs of undies by the exact same manufacturer - but one made for men and the other for women - and you'll quickly see why!), I can't really speak to that, but just from the way that they fit on me, I can readily imagine that they might be a little constricting for a guy. You might want to consider ordering a size up from your usual size, especially if you're well-endowed or just prefer a looser fit.

COMFORTABLE & CONVENIENT--What's not to love?
I'll try not to get too personal with this review, and I will not post any photos!I first saw these underwear at Cabelas, and got a few pair as I planned on doing some traveling and needed the convenience of underwear that dried quickly and would not take much room in my suitcase (I refuse to pay additional baggage fees, and pack as small and light as I can). These underwear are absolutely great. They are lightweight, sturdy, easy to wash, quick to dry, extremely comfortable to wear, and they look fantastic. After more than a year, they have held up extremely well, and I couldn't have been happier than when I saw them on Amazon for less than $13 (at Cabelas, they were $20 each while they were there). Over time, I'm converting most all of my wardrobe to "performance" clothing, and these underwear are simply perfect for me.No, I'm still not posting any pictures!

Comfortable fit
Everything is great except that they have a tendency to creep up the forbidden zone between the cheeks. Not too comfortable there. Otherwise great fit with no shifting around or slipping down.

My go to for travelling
I have used this brand for vacations, especially cruising, for 10 years now. I only have to pack 2-3 for as many as six weeks because they can be washed in the sink and are dry the next day. Fit is great and cool to wear, even in hot, humid climates.

soft
I had bought these for my husband a while ago in a local store. He loves them and now they are hard to find. I went on amazon and found them. They were running low with stock there too but i was able to get a couple of pairs. They are soft and wash well. but after about a year they do get very stretched out. So they last a good while but it is the stretched out part that made me order more. They didn't get thread bare just stretched out. But i think you get a good amount of time out of them for the price. I will definately buy them again.

Great for high humidity environment
Doesn't hold the sweat, very breathable. Great for travel, thin, lightweight, and easy to wash. If you happen to run out of underwear while traveling...a little hotel shampoo in the sink and bingo clean and dry underwear in the morning!

A must-have for traveling
Picked up 4 pair of these (2 charcoal & 2 hemlock) for a two week trip to Europe. Definitely a good choice. They were easy to wash and dried overnight. In hindsight I probably could have gotten away with two pair.I noticed that the charcoal fit slightly snugger that the hemlock. I was between the medium & large on the chart and prefer the fit of the charcoal.I really like the feel of these briefs compared to my usual Fruit of the Loom cotton. They breath better and don't get soak up sweat. I would probably wear these exclusively if they weren't so darned expensive. I don't regret buying them, however, since they are truly a must-have for traveling.Planning to keep an eye on these in case the price drops.
