Everest Junior Slant Backpack, Black, One Size

I've been using this backpack on a daily basis for the past two years. The zippers are holding up well. I added a piece of elastic on the side to help hold water bottles in place, otherwise the small mesh pockets won't hold a 1-liter reusuable bottle. Those pockets are nice for phone or sunglasses though. Main compartment is big enough to carry wallet, sundries, and a small project or book. I like the two small zippered pockets (the slant one is perfect for keys) and made my own set of organizer pockets to fit inside the bigger pocket to hold sunscreen, hand sanitizer, pens and other small essentials. Please note, this backpack will NOT hold 8.5"x11" folders!Unfortunately, the straps never really lost their initial stiffness and they are too close together to be really comfortable for an adult woman. The length of straps is acceptable. Furthermore, the black back fabric is starting to wear thin near where the straps meet the top of the pack, so I suspect the pack's days are numbered. This is sad because the last small pack I had, an Eddie Bauer kids pack from Target, lasted 8 years. This is also my first backpack in 30 years to have the fabric wear thin like this.Would I buy this again? Only if I don't find something better.update a year later: The purple fabric began shredding and leaving pieces everywhere, and the black backing is now see through. I moved up to the Deluxe model and it seems to have a better quality fabric and a padded back.

Ok so there is good news and bad news for this adorable backpack.Pros:exactly looks like picture, if not better.good amount of space and pocketslooks and feels durablecons:the whole reason i bought this backpack was because i needed one big enough to fit an just one Avery one touch open 1 and 1/2 inch binder for school, however it would not even fit one Avery one touch open 1 inch binder. it would fit the bottom but with the rounded top it isnt even close to zipping up.with that in mind, if i was in need of a smaller backpack with space and pockets, i would most definitely keep it, however i have enough of those and needed something very specific. hope this helped.

This item is a great mini backpack for a 5K/10K walk/power walk. It's big enough to hold all my essentials (phone, wallet, bottled water, snacks, free swag from participating in these 5k/10 walk events, and a hoodie sweater), but small enough to help me curb my habit of overpacking. I love that this backpack has side pockets for water bottles. Perfect for easy access to essentials like water when you're walking and don't want to take off the backpack to get to your water (and also great as a temporary holder for your phone or iPod when you need to place it down but don't have any pockets in your yoga pants).

I don't know any features of this item - I bought it because I sponsored a Angel Tree family at Christmas, and the 11 year old girl wanted a purple backpack, and it was perfect for what I wanted!

Perfect size if you no longer want to carry a big diaper bag but need something bigger than a purse. The quality is pretty good considering how inexpensive it is. Only gave 4 stars because the mesh on the side where I carry sippy cups ripped. I did a quick sew job and its good to go. I liked it enough to buy a black one and a purple one.

I really do like this bag except that it is a 'child-size.' If the straps were longer it could be for adult use too. It isn't any bigger than a standard notebook but can fit quite a lot.I would recommend someone using it as a day bag as it doesn't seem to be able to hold anything too heavy. I was able to fit a change of clothes, snacks, deodorant and wallet in there with room to spare. The best feature of this bag is that it holds it shape and stands up on its own. I hate backpacks that don't have a 'backbone.'The two mesh holders can hold a standard size bottle. Very well balanced. Will buy from this company again but will be returning this small bag.

I bought this bag to replace a years-old bag I've used for a particular job. I'm satisfied with it, with the size, etc. I would have liked a little pocket and pen holders in the (middle) zip pocket; that would make it a 5-star bag. Still, useful for what I need. BTW, I can fit a pair of shoes, size 9, in the large compartment and still have room for the normal stuff I carry! I don't recommend it for carrying full-sized school notebooks. 2 water bottle pockets.

I love mini book bags but I had trouble finding one with enough pockets because I use these as a diaper bag and purse. When I overlooked this it appears the stitching was a bit sloppy, but it was only 8 bucks so I am not that surprised by that. The material appears to be durable. I hope it lasts for a while. I would recommend this product for a child's use to carry toys, extra clothes, etc.
