Fodor's InFocus Great Smoky Mountains National Park (Full-color Travel Guide)

This is a very nice and informative book on the National park.

I have read a lot of articles online about planning a trip to GSMNP, when I received this guide, its relatively small size made me suspicious that it won’t provide much new information and I would return it. To my surprise, I decided to keep it and maybe share with any of my friends if they want to visit the park. Yes, you can find a lot of info online, but the author organize the information so well that it’s an easy and efficient read as well as for future revisit. And the author provides interesting and detailed information and suggestions about everything you might need to know for your planning. Highly recommend

We used this book for our recent trip to the Smoky’s and it was very helpful. Great resource and had lots of good info we didn’t find elsewhere about where to park/times to go/etc.

This guide is way better than I thought! Not only it's super informative and has great maps, but it also assists you with making daily plans for the park. Five stars all the way! *****

Positive experience using guide book.Only criticism for authors is that on page 27 the time for Tennessee is listed as Central Time. I was concerned because of reservations I had in Gatlinburg, but saw that the area to the immediate west of the park is still on Eastern Time. Since the book is specifically about the Smoky Mountains National Park, I think that should be made clear.
