I love these!
They feel so nice. I have the mid range worth and the light weight one. I love them both. The Grey one is pretty and I've washed it several times with no issues at all.

Luxurious-Quality comforter for a great price!
I used to purchase these divine duvet inserts from a store and couldn't remember where they were from, so I went on a hunt. These met all expectations. I love that these have crisp, heavier, cooling fabric on the outside with adequate down inside. They are top quality for a fair price! Meets its heavyweight description and feels wonderful to sleep under. Don't be fooled by its packaging, they do fluff up to high-end hotel standards. So happy!

Excellent
We have had this for over a month and really like it. I live in the PNW and our all-season comforter was just too warm, even during the cold months. We switched to this one and have been pleasantly surprised. It is still quite fluffy and luxurious but definitely less warm, which we like. I was impressed with the quality. There are loops at the corner to attach the duvet. I followed the instructions and fluffed it in the dryer and it turned out beautifully. Definitely recommend!

Strong smell after 5 full days of airing out
Update: it’s been 6 or 7 days that I’ve had it airing out and it’s actually miraculously totally fine today. I am excited to finally be able to use it and will update this review if needed. I have high hopes that it will be a cozy dreamy cloud once I get it in a cover.Original review below:I read the reviews about the smell but many of them indicated that airing it out for a few days would get rid of it. I’m beginning to wonder if they actually just became nose blind to it.. I opened it 5 days ago and it was so strong it made me nauseous.I followed fluffing instructions and then essentially made a fort out of it with my dining room chairs so it could get air under the fan all night. Flipped it over the next morning and left it all day. Left it in my spare room the next two days, and then outside some of yesterday and most of today in the sun. It is definitely weaker in smell but it just is not going away. It’s still very much noticeable, which is extremely disheartening.I have purchased things before that needed to off-gas for a few days, that’s not an issue, but going into day 6 with a still unusable duvet… if I still cannot use it in the next few days I will have no choice but to return. Sigh. It does look and feel very comfy and I love the nostalgic crinkle. It’s just the smell.

It's loud, and the feathers poke out
I purchased this one after buying a different, much better one that was too hot. When this arrived, i did not notice a smell as others have, but we fluffed it up in the dryer and put it on the bed. It was loud when moving it, like crinkling paper. I was ok with it after the first night, but I noticed that I kept getting poked with the tips of feathers protruding out from it. I have to return it.

Exactly right
I have spent probably well over 100 hours finding my new duvet insert. Previously ordered a very spendy one but then was informed it was on back order and I did not want all that research going to waste so started with my checklist all over again on Amazon. LOVE a noisy shell on a duvet. To me that means it is cool to the touch and cambric cotton. Very important to me. I made the mistake of microfiber/polyester before and was very disappointed. I bought King Size. It has tabs to secure it to a duvet cover.I wanted the lightweight, but I guess I ordered the medium weight, and it is perfect. For the last 4 nights, I am not sleeping hot (I am also a VERY HOT SLEEPER so also changed to linen sheets which have been a game changer TG!) and it is super luxurious and a bit (perfectly) crunchy. It is in my duvet cover and that takes most of the initial crunch out, but you know this is QUALITY. Excellent duvet insert for an excellent price. Make sure you put it in your dryer for 7-10 minutes after you open it. With tennis balls preferably. :)

This is a great heavy weight comforter! PERFECT! LOVE IT!
This DWR "Heavyweight" Feather Down Comforter! Fluffs up really nicely in the dryer as per instructions. In the rating section above it only askes for rating for "light weight" quality-so did not enter a number! If question was to rate "heavyweight" I would have put 5! So it should say 5 stars for Heavyweight! We ordered it because it was said heavy weight in description! IT'S PERFECT! WE LOVE IT!It's Top Quality and arrived very quickly! Very well constucted with quality fabric & well sewn. Love the special corner feature for the duvet corner ties. My grand daughter loved it said it was very hugable! She immediatly read instructions & then supervised dryer during the whole 20 min fluffing time!

What to expect and tips!
The media could not be loaded. I see a lot of negative reviews from people who are clearly new to duvet feathers. If you’re not familiar with duvet feathers please read!CHOOSING THE RIGHT SIZEAlways buy one size bigger than what you want. You’ll want to buy a duvet cover one size smaller than the duvet so it will be snug and it will help give more an appearance of a fluffy cloud. So if you want a real queen size I’ll suggest buying a king size duvet to put in a queen size duvet cover. Queen size duvet for a double size duvet cover. California king size duvet for a king size duvet cover etc…NEVER PUT YOUR DUVET IN THE WASHER!Duvet should always be washed at a professional cleaner! Washing your duvet feather can cause MOLDS!!That’s why you need to put a duvet cover to protect your duvet from getting dirty. You’re not supposed to wash your duvet. ONLY the duvet cover! If you accidentally spill a drink etc bring it to a PROFESSIONAL cleaner! When you first receive it I’ll suggest laying it flat for half an hour and shake it to help it fluff. After you can put it in the dryer at LOW TEMP for 20-30min with tennis balls to remove wrinkles and help the Duvet to fluff up more.BE CAREFUL WITH THE DRYER!Always tumble dry at low temperature! Warm temperatures can cause holes in your duvet! Most of people complaining about bad odour have probably put their duvet in the washer. Of course it will smell like a dirty duck if you got it soaking wet! And the worst part is if it’s not completely well dried moisture will be trapped in it and yes it will cause molds … Eeeww just don’t do it!NOISEFor the crackling sound it’s absolutely normal! The outshell is made that way to prevent feathers for coming out. Even my northern feather duvet that I’ve paid 700$ have that crackling noise it’s just the way its made. There’s probably better options now out there for the noise but let’s be honest here a fluffy duvet under 300$ it’s a really really good deal!** My duvet is a queen size and in the video and my duvet cover is the same size as the duvet. There was sadly no double/full size in this colour. It’s still fluffy but it would’ve been even more fluffy with a double/full size duvet cover. I bought the duvet cover set on Amazon too. Brand Serta Colour burgundy size double/queen “but the measurement are queen size” for 55$ approximately.Hope this helps :)!

Horrible smell. Look elsewhere.
I bought this duvet as I’m a hot sleeper and was really excited to try it out.It had a strong and foul chicken coup smell when I first opened the packaging, which persisted after airing it out. I later cleaned it in the washer with a delicate laundry detergent on cold and on the delicate cycle. After it was done it smelled much worse than when I first opened it. I ran a second wash where I used white vinegar and detergent, the smell persisted. I then moved it to dryer and set to the very low setting. I ran 3 cycles to fully dry it out.Once it was dried, the smell was no longer overwhelming but was still there. Definitely not acceptable to sleep under. I left to air out for a few days and tried to use it the night after. While I slept comfortably that night. However, I woke up to the horrible smell the next morning.I wasted a lot of time to make this duvet work but it ultimately failed. I suggest looking elsewhere.Edit: Increased the rating from 1 to 3 stars as customer support was excellent and offered to refund me the cost of the comforter.
