My dog LOVES this toy! It’s been excellent for his impulse control training and the rod has held up with a 35lb dog running away with the toy at full speed.Pros:- The rod itself is very sturdy and easy to collapse/expand. It ends with a metal loop that you tie the string too, making it very easy to replace the string with whatever material you want (bungee cord has worked well for me)- The toys it comes with are squeaky toys, making it way more enticing for dogs to chase. They have a fabric loop on the head you can tie to a string.Cons:- The string it comes with is pretty flimsy and easily slips any knots you make. I wanted to replace the string with bungee cord anyway so I don’t mind. I actually ended up tying the original string to the bungee and sewed the other end to a toy’s fabric loop for extra security. So far it’s held up against my cattle dog mix!I give it five stars because it’s been well worth the price. I’m not sure how it’d fare against larger breeds, but definitely recommended for small to medium dogs!

Our puppy loves her Flirt pole! Even after almost 2 months, she is still “chasing” the first toy of three. She loves chewing on the ears but still hasn’t chewed them off. The squeaker also still squeaks despite her efforts to kill it and the pole still easily and securely expands from about 15 inches to a yard. I love it because I can sit on the couch and still have fun with her. It was well worth the price!

Bought this for a spunky puppy because I was getting dizzy looping in a circle with a toy in hand while playing. The toys that come in the package are very hearty. The extension rod does in fact prevent dizziness. Its a good combo. Glad I bought it.

Nothing whatsoever to recommend about this item. In order to attach a toy you have to tie it in with a string, which makes removal difficult - after a good play session, I should be able to quickly detach a toy and give it to my dog and I cannot. The toys are of terrible quality - my pup is a poodle and in four years he has never torn a toy open and pulled out the stuffing when playing with it, yet these tore immediately when he played with them. The only decent thing about this item was the pole seems to be of decent strength.

Got this product today. Likes: the toys are great!Dislikes: the pole is extremely heavy. The cord that attaches to the toys is extremely short and comes undone as it's very slippery and you tie it to a metal ring. My puppy has almost chewed thru the cord already and we haven't even had it an hour. I will be returning this item.

The pool is very sturdy although it could use another handle so you could use both hands for a woman anyway. It would make it easier to hold onto my dog pulls very hard. With that being said these toys didn’t last a day. They ripped out where they’re connected to the pole very quickly. I’ll keep the pole and find a way to connect other toys.

My dog loves this toy! However he prefers the toys off the pole. Just a phase for him, because he loved playing with our less sturdy one before this one. The toys are very well made and sturdy. They are holding up very well from all the “monster shakes”.

I cannot give this item at fully accurate review since the rod and two of the toys were missing. Yes you read that right. All that was in the bag or the blue and the gray toy and orange rope. So I can't judge the other two toys the brown and the pink one or the rod and it's sturdiness and all that good stuff since I didn't get a rod or the brown and pink toys.
