Perfect Casio Duro Bracelet (It Does Fit!)
This is an excellent enhancement to the Casio MDV106. Although installation is a little tricky, the bracelet DOES FIT the Casio Duro. The trick is to start one end of the spring bar by placing it directly into the spring bar hole and then rock the end link into the lugs. Then depress the extended spring bar and push the end link fully into place. At this point, you’ll have trouble getting the unseated end of the spring bar to seat into its hole. So use a small screw driver, pushpin or the provided spring bar tool to gently push the unseated towards the case so it will align with its hole. A couple nudges using this method and the spring bar will eventually align and seat into its hole. Then use the provided spring bar tool to press each end of the spring bar outward to ensure it is fully seated and you’re done. Although this sounds tricky, it really itsn’t difficult and can be done in minutes.Anyway, if you can follow the above guide, this bracelet will be an excellent addition to your watch. It’s very well made for the money. Solid links throughout, good weight and tolerances and nice finishing. The clasp is also pretty solid for the money. Overall a perfect complement to the Casio Duro, especially if you have the two tone black and gold Duro, since two tone bracelets are hard to find for this model.Anyway, give it a shot and you’ll be glad you did.

Decent match for the Casio Duro but there is a color difference
This is a review specifically for how this band fits a Casio Duro. There is another review that mentions a slight gold tint to the bracelet and if you are trying to find an exact color match, you will probably notice this tint. I definitely did and returned my bracelet. My friend ended up keeping hers, so I’ve attached pictures so you can see how it looks on the Duro. You’ll notice a very, very slight color difference as well as a slight mismatch in how the curve of the bracelet fits against the curve of the watch. It still is a decent bracelet, especially for the price point, which is why I gave it four stars - but if you’re looking for an exact color match, then you may want to just spend the money on one that matches better. I opted to stick with the original black strap.

Pins does not alien
Let me start by saying that I am a loyal Casio Duro (MDV 106) fan. I've collected all the available models and particularly appreciate that you can still find the Duro with the iconic Marlin logo at a reasonable price on Amazon. My latest acquisition was the green Duro, completing my collection. Along with it, Amazon recommended a stainless steel replacement bracelet, claiming compatibility with the model. At $19.99 (half the price of the watch), I decided to give it a try, expecting a premium experience given the reputable seller. The bracelet arrived in generic packaging with "Watch Band" printed on top—simple but decent. Inside, the bracelet was heavily wrapped in plastic, which, while protective, felt excessive and cumbersome to remove. On the plus side, the package included a pin remover, several spare pins, a bracelet adjustment tool, and an instruction manual. This thoughtful inclusion raised my expectations, and I was initially impressed. Unfortunately, my enthusiasm quickly turned to frustration when attempting to fit the bracelet to my Casio Duro. Despite Amazon marketing the product as compatible, the original pins that came with the watch did not fit the bracelet. Instead, the pins supplied with the band were much thinner, raising concerns about their durability. The real challenge came with aligning the bracelet to the watch using the provided pins. After over an hour of struggling, I could not achieve a proper fit. The misalignment issues were so severe that I doubt even a professional jeweler could make this bracelet work with the Duro. While the added tools and packaging suggest effort, the bracelet fails to deliver on its promise of compatibility with the Casio Duro. The mismatch in pin sizes and the poor fitment make it impractical for its intended purpose. For these reasons, I cannot recommend this band to any Casio Duro owner.

Good value and style!
This jubilee style is a favorite watch band design of mine. I my opinion, it's a very good looking replacement for the worn, original leather band on my watch. Reasonable price with necessary tools and spare pins included and the curved end caps give a finished appearance instead of the straight ends that leave a gap between the band and case. Plenty of removable links and 3 micro adjustment slots for a perfect fit. Each wrist watch is different and if you have experience and patience, this band swap can be done at home. Installing with the curved ends can be challenging. I found the caps should be lined up onto the watch case as the pins are pressed into locking position from the case back. If you're not familiar with this work, maybe a jeweler is a better choice. The results are worth the effort either way.
