NovoTech Soft Touch Matte Finish Rubberized Hard Shell Case for MacBook Pro 13-Inch with Retina Display - White Marble

Personally, I never cared if the Apple glowed visibly enough for people to see that it's a MacBook. With that said, this will limit the visibility of your "apple" on the back, but it does show slightly. I like the rubberized feel of the case. It makes it less slippery and easier to grip. The feet on the bottom of the case keep the MacBook from sliding around on the table. I gave this 4 stars because it picks up dirt and oils very easily. It's a little harder to clean this case than a smooth, harder plastic case. However, I will buy this case, again, if I break it. One of the biggest perks is that my wrists do not get poked and scratch as I type because the case's edge isn't higher than the MacBook Pro that I use. I've had this case for a couple of months and use my MacBook daily and this case has held up much better than the previous hard plastic cases I've used in the past. The best part is that it just snaps on and off. I've been table to remove the case easily without anything breaking. Best of all, nearly everyone, including strangers, have come up to tell me how much they love my case and where they can get one!Updated: I'm changing this from 4 stars to 5 stars because cleaning it became easier. Tip: If the case gets oily/dirty and doesn't wipe away easily, I've put the case in a container with warm water and a solution of Borax and regular dish soap (Dawn blue) for an hour. Then I just use a non-abrasive scrubby to rub away the spots with the oils and dirt and it's come out clean like new!

I've purchased a few covers for my MacBook pro (13" retina) and all but this one have fallen short in some regard. Here are the things I love about this case that I've had issues with on other manufactured cases:-The bumper feet stay in place and don't fall off (this is a huge pain with most cases)-The vent cutouts are well placed and allow good air flow to prevent over heating-The finish is a true matte with a soft hand rubbed texture (unlike the hard cases which can be shiny and slippery)-It grips the MacBook perfectly making it easy to remove when needed (past experiences haven't been good)-The design is STUNNING & the white bottom cover looks great on the silver MacBook. While it's obvious it's a printed design and doesn't look like real marble I've used it to stage some Instagram flat shots when traveling with items and it turns out wonderfully!Cons:-The bumper feet are starting to wear down- the plastic coating on them is tearing off but it's not a big issue and doesn't cause any issues with functionality!-As some other's have mentioned--I wish that the front cover was either thicker and completely blocked the apple symbol or thin enough to allow it to fully shine through (this is personal preference and not something that has changed my love for it)

This Novo Rubberized Hard Shell is fantastic! It fits my Apply Macbook Pro 13 inch with Retina Display perfectly. I have previously used another brand of shell, which I was very happy with as well. However, the Novo Shell is even better quality than the other brand. The Novo Shell fits more accurately and was easier to clip on. It also has 2 rows of vents (instead of just one), which helps with heat disbursement. The Novo Shell is a great value, and overall I think these shells are priceless and worth every penny. I take my Macbook with me everywhere. It gets a lot of miles, and I've even dropped it and spilled things on it. The shell protects it beautifully from the outside world day in and day out. Underneath, my Macbook is still flawless, functioning perfectly, and scratch and damage free! The shell will last forever from a functional standpoint, but once it gets scratched up, I usually opt to replace it. And I can have a totally new look each time with all the cool colors out there! Will definitely buy this product again! I use it in combination with a Snugg Leather Sleeve and a Mosiso Keyboard Silicone Skin, they work seamlessly together.

I'll start off by saying this: the case looks absolutely adorable. It's very sleek and clean looking, but I am a bit nervous using it. I didn't expect the case to be very protective, but the material for the top cover is a little slick, making me feel like I'll be more prone to dropping it. I just put it on my computer for the first time, though, and I'm eager to see how it will hold up. I don't expect much when it comes to dropping my computer, but as long as this case protects my computer from scratches I'm happy! My wrists do rub just a little when I'm typing, so hopefully that doesn't become too much of a problem. I'm rating 4 stars because the case is very cute and that is what I was looking for. If you truly are looking for a durable case to really protect your computer, I don't think this will work for you.

Great buy, I got it on sale for $17. The case fits my MBP 13" with Retina Display perfectly and is easy to snap on! The case has a great texture, not necessarily gummy, but an almost undetectable textured plastic. It's not slick, so I never feel like it's going to slip out of my hands. I love that the bottom has the no slip feet and ventilation panels. The marble pattern could be a tad crisper but that's about my only (very minimal) criticism. Additionally, if it's important to you that the Apple logo is very visible, what I've noticed is that the glow is pretty easy to make out as an apple through the case, but it's not like having a cutout. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

Ive been wanting one of these for the longest time. It isn't bad for a marble case, but i have to say that it didn't meet my expectations. Its matte which i liked, but its simply too soft to where if seems almost slippery to me, but thats just something that I have to get used to. I ordered from this company because I read so many good reviews, however, my package came with a couple of small scratches on the top of the design....the design is slightly chipped of the edges of the design and where my had rest the bottom piece scratches my wrist while I am typing. I don't know whether it is just the case i got, or whether I just had high hopes for this case, but it did not meet my expectation.
