Emerson SmartSet Alarm Clock Radio with AM/FM Radio, Dimmer, Sleep Timer and .9" LED Display, CKS1900 (Black)

Was impressed with the customer service of Ames Suplier, the click was easy to read, not too bright

Ordered for use in the UK - normal voltage is 240. Why sell me a clock using 120 volts? Nothing in the description actually states the voltage so I (foolishly) assumed it would work in the UK.

I received an Emerson SmartSet Alarm Clock Radio with AM/FM Radio, Dimmer, Sleep Timer and .9" LED Display, CKS190 from the UK Amazon website. When I plugged it in it showed the display briefly before going dead. I have now discovered that it is only suitable for 120V 60Hz AC power and the UK is 240V! This information is not available on the Amazon UK website and one wonders why it is even advertised there and I find that I am not the first to point this out to Amazon. I have raised this issue days ago and have still not had the courtesy of a reply. I expect a full refund.

Was very disappointed with our radio and the return service. Radio faulty and return service terrible after we finally got return label and information where to take the package we went to Morrison’s, Go outdoors, W.H Smiths (2) even though they were places we were told to go they were unable to help us. The radio is now in the bin, not sure if I will use Amazon again which is sad because I have used you for a long time. One disappointed customer.

Love this clock, but it was only 120 volts, in uk we are 240 volts, why was this sold to me, as I order it from uk Amazon website, eventually got my money back, unfortunately voltage was not on website page, I told it for granted, that all things on Amazon website UK, is 240 V

Became faulty after 1 day! non-returnable item.
