Brilliant base / substrate for paint!
These generally arrive intact. I’ve ordered so many packs and occasionally there’s a slight dent on one. I gesso over them, unless I want the wood grain texture showing through.They can take layers: acrylic paints, fluid acrylics, acrylic inks and acrylic pens.I’ve used them in an art workshop and people liked walking away with ‘a nice piece of art to hang on the wall’.I often prefer them to small canvases these days.They are cute, lightweight and the natural feel of wood is lovely to work on.

Very good value little boards, unfortunately 1 was not perfect but after several coats of gesso ideal for small oil paintings!

Poorly made
I think the customer before me was lucky. These boards are very badly made. The board does not fit the frame properly. One side over hangs and the other side does reach the edge of the frame. Lumps missing out of the frame. Very poor. Not worth the money.
