Easy to use and works well

Worked great on my gas can.

The base easily breaks apart dropping plastic in the gas can. You have to go fish it out so it doesn’t get into your gas line. Have bought other caps (different manufacturer) and never had this problem…except for these.

Probably a 5 second replacement on my old Midwest gas can. Also, it would be a good mod on old cans that have the vent in the spout. Drill an appropriate sized hole and insert. Good to go.

First my existing 1/2” holes. They’re plastic so I don’t expect them to last more than a couple years, but the 10-pack should last me awhile for my 3 cans.

I used a ½" drill bit and still had some difficulty getting these installed. They have to be pushed in very evenly. The plastic is soft enough it will deform if you try to force it.

Work fine so far

I added these to 3 gas cans. I noticed one broke inside the can & fell off leaving a hole & possible big spill. I added a new one & so far it’s held

Installed in 2 cans in less than a minute. Fits tightly, so no leaks anticipated. Just keep your drill at 90 degrees. Finally, these cans are vented properly! Excellent price point as well.

Used these fittings rightaway on my gas cans. They work very well and are awelcome relief of not having to hold the old cans forever while trying to fill my implements. The only thing I would have liked to see was some minimalistic installation instructions, However was able to get it to work after watching a video on U tube. Good value.
