Silver alginate for wound care
I ordered this for my husband’s bed sores that he received at the hospital. It was really helpful. The silver was better than the regular alginate.

Silver Calcium Alginate Wound Dressing
What stinks is you have a wound, the next part is you have no idea how/where to get the wound dressing supplies ... doctor's assistant & your wound care nurse says "Check out Amazon" ... Guess what your day starts to get a little brighter, because at least you have a direction & a looonnnggg range goal that seems like a decade away, but has really only been a year though still ongoing. There are several types of this product out there. I chose the "Silver Calcium Alginate" as the Silver although slightly more expensive helps to fight infection. Make sure to check your treatment program with your doctor. For your treatment plan, you may need additional supplies, Amazon is a great place to start.

Works Great In Wound Care.

sticks to wound
Claims that it does not stick to wound, but it does. Video makes it appear that a clear adhesive plastic cover for the silver alginate pad is included in the package, but there aren't any included.
