Braun ThermoScan 6 IRT6515

Very easy to use. I like the colour-coding which makes it really clear to tell if there is something wrong. It is about the size of my hand so very portable & easily stored. The screen is a good size and the numbers are large. Braun is a reliable brand that produces good quality products, this is definitely good quality & should last a while. In terms of accuracy it is the same as my infrared thermometer so accuracy is spot on.

I've been using one of these for the past five years in my primary care role. It is in heavy use, being used every working day several times per day. It's hard to really find any fault with this thermometer at all. In the five years that I've been using it, it has been totally reliable and remained accurate. It takes x2 AA batteries, and battery life is very good indeed. I cannot remember when I last had to change the batteries. It has fallen on the floor a few times (fairly inevitable with the level of use). When it hits the floor, the plastic battery cover will fly off and the batteries fall out, but the plastic retaining clip on the battery cover has never broken, and it all clips back together as it should and continues to work. Full marks for build quality and robustness. Accuracy is good, and I'm happy that it is giving correct readings. I recommend pulling back gently on the earlobe to ensure that the probe sits properly into the ear canal. The disposable plastic covers for the probe keep everything clean and hygienic. You have to hold down the green button on top for 2-3 seconds, and then your readout appears clearly on the screen. Little else I can say about such a straightforward, device. In short it has been 100% accurate and reliable, with good battery life, and is quite a tough little thing too, surviving 5 years of daily use with flying colours!

This thermometer was really good and easy to use for both my sick mother and baby. Unfortunately it's given up working after just a year and a half which is disappointing considering how expensive it is.

Works well and batteries last a long time Nothing worse than when you want to use the thermometer you find the batteries are flat. This DOES NOT occur here!

This is worth the money that you have to pay for it. It is accurate and that is what you need. Not one that might get it correct once in a while. You can choose the colour either black or white. (I think). You have to pay for a case, this is worth the while as it holds your thermometer and one packet of probe covers. When you purchase the Braun Thermometer it comes with a free packet of probe covers. Then you have to buy your own. There are many on the market so you can choose one that suits your pocket. You may think that this is too expensive. But I had to buy a Thermometer that was trustworthy and accurate. I suffer from various Autoimmune diseases and my GP asked me to keep essential equipment in the house. So if I become unwell I can take my temperature and give that along with other necessary readings. Then my GP can decide whether I require to be Hospitalised. So I need a very good thermometer that performs very well. I would highly recommend this Braun Thermometer.

Das Braun ThermoScan 6 Ohrthermometer hat mich in vielerlei Hinsicht überzeugt und ist zu einem unverzichtbaren Gerät in unserem Haushalt geworden. Die Verarbeitung des Thermometers ist sehr gut. Es besteht aus wertigem Plastik, das sich angenehm anfühlt und gleichzeitig robust wirkt. Es liegt gut in der Hand und gibt ein Gefühl von Qualität. Man merkt deutlich, dass Braun viel Wert auf die Verarbeitung gelegt hat. Das Display des ThermoScan 6 ist äußerst lesbar. Die Anzeige ist klar und kontrastreich, sodass man die Temperaturwerte mühelos ablesen kann. Besonders positiv ist die Farbkodierung des Displays. Dank der grünen, gelben und roten Farben ist es sofort erkennbar, ob man kein Fieber, eine erhöhte Temperatur oder Fieber hat. Das erspart einem das Raten und schafft sofort Klarheit. Die hygienische Verwendung des Thermometers ist ein weiterer großer Pluspunkt. Es können Spitzencover ausgetauscht werden, was eine saubere und hygienische Messung ermöglicht. Dies macht insbesondere die Verwendung dieses Thermometers von mehreren Personen sehr einfach. Die Messungen mit dem ThermoScan 6 sind äußerst genau und sehr schnell. Im Vergleich zu herkömmlichen Achsel- oder Rektalthermometern bietet das Ohrthermometer eine deutlich schnellere Messung. Es genügt, das Thermometer sanft in das Ohr einzuführen und nach 1-3 Sekunden erhält man eine präzise Messung. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt ist die Batterielaufzeit. Ich benutze das Thermometer bereits seit sechs Monaten und habe noch keine Probleme mit der Batterie gehabt. Insgesamt hat mich das Braun ThermoScan 6 Ohrthermometer sehr überzeugt. Die Kombination aus guter Verarbeitung, einem leicht lesbaren Display, der praktischen Farbkodierung, der hygienischen Anwendung, präzisen und schnellen Messungen sowie einer hervorragenden Batterielaufzeit macht es zu einem ausgezeichneten Thermometer. Ich kann es ohne Bedenken weiterempfehlen.

He tenido este mismo termómetro, pero un modelo anterior, desde que nació mi hijo hace 12 años y ni un problema. Pero se me cayó al suelo y se rompió y he comprado el nuevo modelo. Todo perfecto. Rápido, preciso y fácil de usar.
