Not so good condition
This book you can tell had been read lots of times, it had been loved. But the cover was definitely worn out and damaged some of the pages have been damaged, so I'll definitely be doing a repair on this book.

Vidia is not nice, but she is not guilty either.
I read this one with my [...] year old. It is the best of the Fairy books so far. I like this story in that it brings out the idea that it is easy to presume that someone who is disliked is a guilty party, but a person (or fairy) is not guilty of a crime solely by reason of personality or remark. I also like the systematic way they go about figuring out what happened to the crown and exonerating Vidia. Finally, many such tales have bad characters experience an epiphany and turn good: not so here or at least not an 180 degree conversion from bad fairy to good. Vidia remains pretty much a jerk. Go Vidia!

Great series for developing chapter book readers.
My first grader recently began reading chapter books and really enjoys this series. She is an advanced reader and many of the books up until this point were not very challenging for her. I find that there are some words that she needs help with (pronunciation and definition), but this is a positive as it provides her with more of a challenge (she breezes through the Junie B. Jones books). The stories are highly engaging with an easy to follow structure that keeps her interested in reading despite the vocabulary challenge. Her favorite so far is Silver Mist and the Ladybug Curse.

Vidia is everything
The book was in perfect conditions! Vidia is one of my favorite fairies so I'm stoked to have this book join my growing collection.

Another excellent book in the series
My daughter & I have enjoyed reading this book together. She is five and although she is not reading at this level yet, she is comprehending the story well with some limited input from me.This book is another in the series on fairies in Neverland. This one relates the story the missing fairy crown and Vidia's struggle to clear her name.I hope they publish more in the series as my daughter enjoys stores about faires, as well as mermaids, angels and princesses.

Vidia so mean and yet......
As part of the effort to reduce books in my office; I found these and don't know how they ended up here. My daughter had loved the fairies but like all kids; she grew up. I figured these books would be better served in the little library so another child can enjoy them.Vidia is a mean fairy. Lives away from the others and when she finally talks to others; its with sarcasm and sickly sweet comments. Such was the case when she found Rani and Tink taking a break from the big party preparations. It's the queen's Arrival Day celebration. They asked Vidia if she was going but she feigned disgust and made comments about stealing the crown. The crown disappears! The party is called off and Vidia is suggested to be the thief and to her shock it means banishment! There will be a hearing and she will have a chance to defend herself. Everybody leaves and Vidia wondering what to do. She looks up and finds Prilla the only one left. Prilla is probably the closest thing to a friend she has. Vidia is still mean to her but Prilla saw a side of her on the adventure to save Mother Doves egg which makes her think she has some good in her. Prilla offers to help investigate and Vidia specially wants to know why to which Prilla said she understands what it's like to be alone due to her early days of trying to figure out her talent and the fact her talent is so special she doesn't have a group of like talented fairies to do things. They first start asking questions of the fairies who discovered the Crown was missing and the investigation begins! Can they find the crown in time?As with the other books; this is a simple read and an advanced reader can finish it in one sitting.

a gift
This is one of three fairy books that I bought for my granddaughter for her birthday. She loves and believes in fairies and hopes to have some move into the fairy house I made her. I am sure she loves this book since she requested all three books I have reviewed.

Timeless
I want to buy every single book in this series for my daughter and myself. It is so cute and has answered questions about Neverland that I have had since I was. Kid. Enjoy
