Excellent quality clip-on fan with long lasting rechargeable battery.
The Koonie 10000mAh clip on fan has been a great addition to my workspace. The airflow is surprisingly strong for its size, and the clamp is powerful enough to hold the fan securely while also doubling as a stable stand when needed. The controls are intuitive, making it easy to switch between the four speeds, and the built‑in battery level indicator is a thoughtful touch that takes the guesswork out of charging. On its lowest setting, this fan sends out a pretty strong air current and is nearly silent. Easy to recharge with a USB-C cable. The battery lasts a long time too. I once left it on in my garage overnight, and when I came out the next day it was still running. Overall, it’s a well designed, versatile fan that performs better than expected.

A real fan that can go anywhere. Almost perfect.
Quick summary: this fan provides sufficient airflow for personal cooling (much more than most small USB or battery powered fans provide), in a compact package with good battery life and multiple charging options. The only flaw so far is that it is too easy to activate it accidentally. Full review: To set the context, heat is my enemy. I hate warm weather. I keep my house at 68F and I always have a fan running at my desk or beside my bed. So when planning a two week trip to Italy in the summertime I knew I would want to bring a fan with me. In the past I have used the small 4” diameter USB powered fans that are commonly sold on Amazon but the airflow is weak and they wear out and begin to rattle quickly. They also require a USB power source at all times. I also use a Ryobi portable jobsite site fan sometimes but it is too large and heavy to pack. The ideal portable fan should produce ample airflow, pack relatively flat, store enough power for a decent runtime, and be easy to charge. Durability and quiet operation are important factors as well. This fan (The oddly named Koonie) delivers on all counts. Airflow is excellent. Most of the time I have it on the medium setting. It is quiet, and more compact than I expected. The clip folds sideways making the whole fan about 3-4” thick when packed flat. It’s not exactly small but I had no trouble fitting it in a day pack when traveling. I haven’t tested the total battery life yet but after a couple of hours on a train it was still showing full charge (more on that later). It charges with both micro USB and USC-c, which is great. More importantly it will run while charging, so you can power it with a USB-c charger all night and then take it with you on a day trip first thing in the morning. The clip is quite effective and I’ve had no trouble attaching it to a variety of mounting points. I’ve included a photo of the fan clipped to the overhead luggage rack in an Italian train. Overall, this fan has checked all my requirements, and I sincerely wish I’d had this years ago. Nit Picking: - The button that activates the fan is flush with the back surface, and while it’s a perfectly nice, clicky button, it is easy to activate the fan when it’s packed in luggage or a backpack. I found it running on more than one occasion. I plan to put a layer of packing tape over the button to reduce accidental activations. - The battery life indicator is nice to have, but could stand to be more granular. It has four levels: 100%, 60%, 30% and nothing (all lights dead). Many fans have no charge indicator at all, so this is hardly a complaint worth mentioning. Other than that I can’t find anything to complain about. The build quality is higher than I expected and I don’t think it will break unless abused. I should note that I don’t know what sort of bearings it has, so longevity is uncertain. I also haven’t fully tested the max runtime. Other than that I can confidently recommend this to anyone who needs a portable, compact, battery powered fan. Update: I’ve had the fan for a year and a half now. It worked through my trip to Italy, and I’ve since taken it on a number of camping trips, replacing the Ryobi jobsite fan I used to bring. It lasts for many hours, and I’ll clip it to my cot and run it all night. I was in a wedding last summer, and I knew that being in a tux in the heat was not going to be awesome. I brought the fan along with the rest of my clothing and stuff for the day. I found I could easily clip it to places like the table I sat at during the rehearsal dinner and reception (I clipped it upside down, hanging below the table, aimed up at me from the side) and many other inconspicuous spots. It was quiet, discreet, and effective. Heat is my weakness, but this fan is my secrete weapon. I’m quite pleased with it. I’ve also run it for days on end at my desk. It is every bit as quiet and powerful as it was when I got it.

Reliable
Noise level is low Battery life is decent sometimes I'm even surprised waking up to it still being on despite the low battery percentage. Compact, you can literally just put this anywhere, not good with uneven terrain obviously. Light is good but blinds my eyes but that's cuz I have sensory issues with bright lights lol.

Military essential ✨✨✨
BUY IT. It’s a quiet but strong fan, has strong clip, charges fairly quickly, battery lasts a while and it’s a decent sized product. Not too big not to bulky it’s just right. I love this thing

Desert heat relief
I was able to fully charge this fan and fill the water tank for a round of golf. It clipped to my golf cart roof frame, I did the post behind the drivers head. It has multiple positions to rotate the fan. I used the mister on low and it worked well. The battery on the fan lasted an entire round of golf. I would turn the mister off when out of the cart. I had to fill it twice during my round. About a half of a water bottle each time. It provided moving air and mist to myself and my playing partner. Nice purchase. I live in a desert climate and expect to use this in the summer heat .

Great little rechargeable fan!!
Awesome Little Fan! We live in SE AZ and in the afternoon, the sun heats up our living room walls and windows so that even with the central AC we are not comfortable. We were using a large pedestal fan which was less than ideal. I found the Koonie fan by accident and took a chance being it was battery operated and the specs along with the reviews left me curious. Our pedestal fan more broadcasts the air in a very wide pattern with little focused air to help cool you down. The Koonie is just the opposite it is a focused column of air that is quite effective at making you comfortable. Couple that with the 10000 mah battery which touts a 24 hr run time on low and 12 hr on high, and the fact it has a clip on device for portability which doubles as a more than adequate stand and it is a big hit in our home!! So much so that I have purchased 3 more of them, and they actually do last 24+ hours on low. Which means you can take it with you and have a focused column of cooling air where ever you may need it. Lastly, on low speed, this unit is whisper quiet unlike the pedestal fan which sounds more like a piper cub winding up for take-off. It has definitely made me a happy, cool, camper in my home. Then only thing I'd change and have trouble with is the clip on clamp. The spring is super strong and since the lever end you squeeze to open the clamp is so small, it is difficult to use at times. Lastly the clamp jaws are so narrow that unless you are clamping it to a pipe or an object less than 1/2 inch in thickness, it tends to slip off and not stay put. IE: trying to clamp it to the edge of a coffee table. But all in all more than worth the price! I've had mine for 2 years now and they work great! No complaints. I can recommend this fan in good conscience.

This fan exceeded my expectations. STRENGTH. The fan allows you to select between 3 settings: Low, Medium, and High. This is done through the click of a button located on the back (see video). Even the Low setting generates a powerful airflow/wind - much more so than any desk fan I have tried and comparable to larger fans. It is very cooling in hot summers. CHARGE. The fan is charged through either a USB-C or MicroB plug. Depending on the connection of your wire, it can charge fairly quickly (about 1 hr). BUT, where this shines is that the charge is sufficient to do MORE THAN A WHOLE DAY (> 8hrs) of fan use on level Medium. I anticipate that, in time, the battery will stop being so good at holding the charge and at that time the fan will need to be kept plugged in. But, I have had this fan for 2 years, and use it regularly, and I haven't noticed any dip on the charge. So for now, I don't need to rely on an accessible plug. FLEXIBILITY. The design is simple but very versatile. THE BASE: You can either put it flat on a flat surface, or there is a very strong clamp at the bottom to allow you to attach it to a desk or anything that helps you set it where you want to set it. THE SWIVEL. The fan can be oriented up and down, or left or right. Whichever direction you choose, the fan will stay in that direction - it's easy to set it and it keeps the setting. (Note: there is no automatic oscillation in this fan - wherever it points is where the air is directed). CLEANING. The cover comes off easily by twisting it. This allows you to clean the grid and rotating blades. I purchased the white fan and in time the dust was visible and this accessible design made it super simple to clear. Overall - I have purchased 2 of these and plan to get a third. It's a powerful, versatile, well designed, and high quality fan!

I don't normally rave about products, especially fans but this has been a gamechanger. I bought it to cool a small study and to take the edge of the humid UK summer nights, and it hasn't disappointed. Its a decent size at rough twice the blade length of the smaller hand-held ones. Its super-lightweight for its size as well and the strong clamp means you can attach it to pretty much anything, or leave it freestanding. I've had it on the headboard or the bedside table, and its a night and day difference in getting to sleep on hotter nights. The best thing is the battery life. Whereas the smaller handheld ones I have give up after an hour or so, I've run this continually on the low setting for 6-7 hours both overnight and even had enough juice to run it again during the day. Its very quiet on the lowest setting and always seems to have plenty of charge left thanks to the massive battery capacity, though I haven't used the higher speeds much. I'd say its well worth the money. The only potential negative is I can't see an easy way to take it apart for a battery replacement longer-term if it wears out, but there are phillips screws for the stand and motor casing, so it's probably possible.
