I bought 2 of these and they are not pre-pasted. The first one was ruined when it fell off the wall because standard wall paper paste was not strong enough.These are woven vinyl, about the weight of old "oil cloth" table covers. If trimming is needed, a new box cutter does the trick. It will not tear when wet like other mural materials but did have a couple threads ravel off the bottom. To hang, I first trimmed 3" off each side to approximate my wall area. I used professional grade vinyl-over-vinyl wallpaper paste, with a light coat applied to the wall, then applied to the back and booked the mural. This allowed it to adhere to the wall and not slide down, like the first attempt.It adds a nice touch to my kitchen.
