Devil's Toy Box

Reading about Joni's true life experiences is always so exciting. Joni's knack for pulling you into the scene is amazing. I feel as though I am right there living the experiences with her. I have often wondered about movement seen from the corner of my eye. This book has me questioning things that I never gave much thought to. I am an avid paranormal reader. I love both fiction and Non fiction stories. But knowing that someone actually had these experiences left me with chills running up and down my spine. I will forever be leery of looking into mirrors, and dark shadowy places.I am anxiously waiting for Joni's next book.

Another incredible read by Joni Mayhan. She has a way of writing that is rare in that it makes you feel as if you are right there, a part of the story. She is familiar and friendly and you want to sit and have a cup of coffee with her after you finish her book(s). This book was based on her own true experiences as a young mother in her first house, and kept me up late into the night. A scary story, yes, but she told it calmly and matter-of-factly so I was not scared to turn off the light (ha). I was engrossed and I think I finished it in 2 nights. I am so happy I found Joni Mayhan. On to order another one of her books!

Wow!!! An eye opening true story of the author's experience with the paranormal. A detailed account of Joni and her family's 10 year struggle with an unseen entity who shared the home with them. This was a book I could not put down and with each page turned the account of their lives became more vivid. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is interested in the paranormal! Thank you Joni for sharing your story!!!

Scary story because it's true. You get absorbed into the characters lives & live their story with them. Once I started reading I couldn't put it down!

I absolutely love Joni's books. I have read all of them except her latest trilogy which I will be getting shortly. Joni writes, honestly and straight from her heart. You can actually feel like you are right there with her in her true story books and the fictional books you can feel the characters come alive. I believe Joni is one of the best writers whose books I have ever read and I she continues on her path as a brilliant, talented novelist...Thank you Joni for providing me with so much reading pleasure!!!!!

WOW is just a small word, but with huge meaning, Joni Mayhan has done it again, her book Devil's Toy Box has got to be one of the most scariest true stories i have ever read. she kept me up reading it thru the night, i felt like i was living thru it with her, and her family. i held my breath and was almost afraid to turn the page, as i thought she or her family were going to be hurt, a ghost that wants you out of his house, then decides to not let you leave when you want to, very scary. Thank You Joni for a great book again.

A riveting story about an interesting topic from a human perspective. Joni spins a creepy yarn sure to keep you turning the pages. This is a fun and fast read, because you won't be able to put this book down until you've finished the very end.

wow!!!!!! what to say, let me start by saying Joni I'm sorry you had to live like that. The book was awsome, very intense. Joni really knows how to keep you into the book, almost putting you there at the moment. Once you read one of Joni's books you will want to get the others. Great job Joni keep them coming.
