Excellent practice exam! Zach makes the questions more challenging than the actual exam so you feel prepared for whatever questions they throw at you. Detailed answers are where other practice exams fall short and this book delivers.

The study guide provided problems from all of the question categories and offered in depth explanations. It helped me understand concepts that I haven’t seen or needed to learn more about. Passed on the second try using this and Zach Stone’s first edition study guide.

Overall I liked using this book. The detailed solutions were very helpful in understanding each problem. My only issues were:1) the margin of the pages causes some of the text to be close to the fold, making it hard at times to read2) I wish the solutions had the full question text. To review the solutions I had to bookmark and fill back to each question to remember what the question actually was when reviewing the solution. Small issues but reviewing would have been slightly easier with those things adjusted

This is definitely a quality over quantity book, and I mean that as nothing but a compliment. This book has a unique set of 80 questions that touch on a significant portion of the PE exam topics, so even though the questions count is comparatively low to other exam resources, you definitely get your money’s worth.One thing I particularly enjoyed about the questions in this book is how they incorporate a lot of the exceptions/edge cases. This (1) prepares you for the multiple ways a particular type of question can be asked and (2) breaks you out of the plug-and-chug formula mindset, forcing you instead to consider the relationship between variables and the corresponding real world implications.Going into this book, I had a decent familiarity with all subjects on the exam, but there were some knowledge gaps that kept me from fully understanding a topic in it’s entirety (looking at you, per unit system). However, as I progressed through the practice problems, I was delighted to find that time and time again, the thorough solutions offered by this book allowed the final pieces to fall into place, and suddenly everything made so much sense.If you’re still considering, I would highly recommend adding this book to your study material for the PE exam if you want to take your understanding to the next level.

I purchased this about a year ago and have been enrolled in the online course. I have undergone multiple life situations that kept preventing me from studying until recently. Tackling the PE studying through conventional means has been rough especially with on and off studying but actually cracking open this book along with the online class = perfection. I didn’t realize just how much more feasible the exam looks! Great practice problems and detailed solutions! Combine this with Zach’s online course and you have the formula for success! Highly recommend!

I am currently studying to take the PE for Power and am reviewing this under my husband's amazon account. I am currently taking Zach Stone's PE review course. I bought the paper version of this practice exam and technical study guide even though I have a digital copy because I figured it would be nice to not have to stare at a screen one of the many practice attempts I will complete. I recommend this practice exam and technical study guide to anyone taking the PE for power. Zach Stone is very clear with his solutions and I haven't found another practice exam that goes into such detail.
