Yes I was fully aware of the length when I ordered it, but it really is very short. Other than that it works fine.

My older desk PC only has DVI outputs so after a monitor upgrade I needed one of these. It seems well made (decent strain relief on plug ends etc). Plugged in, worked. By eye, picture on monitor does not have any issues. I've had it over a year but don't use that PC a great deal, but there's no sign of any issues. Not much more to say. Seems like an OK price and handy to be able to get one as DVI becomes less common.

I recently upgraded to a 4070 and unfortunately the card doesn't have a dvi slot for the old monitor I use as a second screen. So I got this cable and it worked perfectly, so it should work with any other modern 30/40 series card, saved having to buy another monitor. Sturdy & good quality cable with gold connectors, not your usual flimsy pins. Worth the price.

I've been slowly getting back into PC gaming and I have resurrected a 20 yr old monitor to get me by. Because it needed drivers for the HDMI to function correctly, the monitor would not sleep.I purchased this cable to allow my new graphics card to connect to the DVI port. The monitor now sleeps, saving a bunch of heat and some electricity.The cable is well built and does the job quite well. It will do what I need until I save enough money for a new monitor.I recommend this cable to anyone struggling with new and old hardware compatibility.
