Q: In the product description it says the holster is 10" long and in he product details it says it's 14" long. Which is it?

The tube / holster portion is 10 and the upper belt loop is 4....so it's both ;o)

Q: The front picture doesn't show a clip. The downward angle picture shows a clip??? Clip or no clip???

No clip...it is designed to slide onto your belt on your waders.

Q: How do you stabilize holster to keep it from swinging?

It doesn't swing. The material is very stiff and hold it's shape when empty. With the staff in it it's rock solid. At 10" long, hanging off of a wading belt along someone's hip (where it should be)...there is no need for extra stabilization.
