Surprisingly comfortable
This is a great cushion for people who need just a little extra softness, or for people who have trouble sitting in the same position for a long time. My 84-year old father has trouble sitting in one position too long, or sitting on a hard surface, as it makes him sore. I purchased this for him to use especially when sitting on the hard chairs at the dining table of my brother's house. At first when you fill it up with air, it seems a bit flimsy and we wondered how it could be any good. However, a bunch of us tried sitting on this on the hard surface of a wooden chair. We all found it to be surprisingly comfortable. We think it is in large part due to the bubbles of air in this cushion's design. This helps the user wiggle and slightly change position easily, which helps decrease the pain of sitting in one position for too long. My dad loves it, and I highly recommend it.

which to me was a nice way of saying I shouldnt have wasted my money
My dad used it for his wheelchair. He said it was "OK"..which to me was a nice way of saying I shouldnt have wasted my money. I will say this.. he is a very big guy and now wheelchair bound. So it may work better on someone who isnt so overweight... It ended up getting "lost" (stolen) anyways... freakin nursing homes I swear. If you can't lock it up or tie it down, people steal it!

Durable and comfortable.
I inflated this with air only (no water) and it has proven to hold the inflation well. No issues at this time. Wife uses it in her transport chair as well as in bed and on the couch. I'm buying another to have them in strategic locations and not have to move it from spot to spot.

Buy but don't FILL with air or water, give it room to cushion you
I loved this seat, more so than any foam cushion. As long as you don't FULLY inflate it, it can surround and add cushion where you need it. Mine unfortunately developed a small leak so now I am sitting on a folded blanket until I get another, but I highly recommend this one over memory foam.. Memory foam remembers and doesn't bounce back like air. I don't know about inflating it with water but I will miss mine. I think the screws in my seat cushion may have put a small hole in it but it's undetectable. I really recommend this one!

Seams start to leak.
I have purchased this before, because my husband needs the cushion on his shower chair. Although it does the job, after a few months, they start leaking, and always on a seam which is impossible to repair.

Worked great!...for three months.But for $15 I guess that's considered a bargain in today's economy.
I bought one last November. Two days ago, I wrote a review about filling mine with lung capacity. This evening, my cushion is deflated, and it isn't leaking at the stem...so mine lasted 3 months. I'm grateful that air and not water is leaking out onto my chair. I'm ordering a cushion that comes with a pump.

Inflatable cushion
It is an okay seat pad. It does help, but it also slowly leaks air. I would NEVER try putting water in it.

Three Stars
Putting water is the hardest thing.. very hard to manage.. but once water is in .. seems sturdy
