The media could not be loaded. It's not a high dollar reel but I am very impressed. I am running 6 lb brain (piscifun), ultra light ugly stick and using a little crappie jig. Bail is stiff but I like it, the spring feels pretty strong. I am very much a budget fisher, I do have a few lews, Penns, and abu rod/reel combos but to me this is just as good. It might not last 50 years like a penn but it's well worth it. Highly recommend it to anyone.Update: I have caught a huge variety of fish using this reel. It's paired with an ugly stick and still continues to impress me. I have caught a 20+ lbs longnose gar that actually set a river record and had no issues getting it in. This reel has seen a lot of abuse and continues to bring the fish in. It's really a fantastic reel.

For the price of this reel, I cannot believe how well it performs.Feels good in the hand, casts like a dream and retrieves flawlessly.The only problem I’ve had, which is minor to me, is the crank handle screw cap comes loose on occasion and you have to retighten it to secure the crank handle. Probably due to the plastic they used to keep costs down.I also always oil and grease a new reel when I receive it just for my own peace of mind.Other than that, this is a solid reel that has caught multiple bass for me and I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another one.

Great price. $30 usually. $15 when on sale. Reel comes with a metal spool. Drag is smooth. Drag has click adjustment. Line pick up seems pretty quick. Reel is nice and light. No 2500 model but the 2000 does seem larger than any other 2000 model. Wide spool limits line twist.

It the first time I ordered the fishing reel on line, can’t wait to test it out, can’t believe it’s very awesome! I really like it. It casts far and very smooth! It’s really quality for the price .

Smoother than the ones I was finding in <$80 range at sporting goods stores. Got the 4000 for 20 dollar range. Prices fluctuate on this. Have 8lb on it now for crappie, bream or whatever wants to bite. I am impressed enough I will be looking at more of their products. Reels smoother than my old shamino. Really surprised on the quality for this price.

The reel is good for the money. Although I bought 2, and the reverse switch on one works when it wants to. Thinking about just replacing the reel altogether
