Worth a try
Overall, I think it’s worth reading. It’s not a difficult read, I finished it in 2 days. Nothing in the book is a miraculous cure to over-eating, a lot of things I’ve heard or read before, but I did find it interesting how she viewed certain things and I definitely will try some tips and tricks that I think will be helpful. She explains how you can help yourself, build your own specific plan because no 2 people are the same and no 2 people will necessarily thrive on the same plan. If you’re looking for a book that tells you exactly what to do this might not be for you. But she does go into details and step by steps for you to build your own personalized plan.

This book will not disappoint....
I often see reviews of books about food and weight loss where people claim the book "changed their live" and then am always disappointed when the book has little impact for me. This book will not disappoint. I can honestly say that Lisa Lewtan and this book have truly had a significant positive impact on my life. While reading Lisa's book there were so many moments where I could relate to her life experiences directly. I always knew I had an unhealthy relationship with food or a "food obsession" but never really understood why or what to do about it. After reading Lisa's book and working through many of the assignments I now have a much better understanding of how food impacts my life and how to manage it. I am absolutely a sugar addict and now know how to minimize the cravings and meet my goals. It will never be without effort but having the tools and the knowledge makes it much easier than it has ever been before and than I ever thought it would be. Thank you Lisa - you have truly changed my life!

A sweet read!
I am usually a little turned off by someone's story -- unless it is someone who changed the world. But every now and then someone can tell a personal story and help you change your world. Lisa does it with her book. It was thoroughly engaging and her suggestions do not sound like mythical quests. My first read is for the overall impact and I loved it. I will read it again taking to heart the suggestions. It seems to me instead of buying Valentine's day candy that Lisa's book would be a much sweeter gift!

Great Book
This book has changed my life. It’s so insightful and real. There are no crazy diets to follow. Lisa helps you get to the root of your food obsession and help you develop ways to overcome those issues.

Listen to Lisa and Your Body
You will never have to diet again after reading this book. Lisa Lewtan uses mindfull eating to keep her readers fit and healthy rather than a quick fix diet plan that won't last. Her writing is spiritual and relatable. It's also a fun and easy read. I found myself underlining and highlighting several of the quotes in the book to refer to throughout the day to use for motivational tips. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is addicted to sugar or uses food as a way to cope with stress!

Finally, relief from sugar stress!
This easy to read book was just what I needed to hear. It was as if Lisa Lewtan was talking to me as one of her girlfriends. Everything she says makes sense and I can’t believe how wonderful I feel after nearly cutting sugar and artificial sweeteners out of my diet. Buy this, read it, change your life😘

Excellent Holistic Approach! Addresses more of the "why" I can't stick to a program!
This book is excellent. It takes on a much more holistic approach to weightloss, and really helps you to change your belief systems as part of learning to live differently. I really enjoy the fact that she encourages you to not eliminate anything from your diet so you don't feel deprived but that you look at foods different such as more often, less often, or rarely. This is a really great book!

Told with humor and grace
Lisa’s story is chronicled between these pages. She has put every bit of energy of, love, life and thought into this book and she wants to give us a chance to experience these very same successes. Told with humor and grace, this books tells not only Lisa’s story, but give us examples on how to break the patterns – food and otherwise - that can sometime plague us. A well worth read.

Like many of us
Like many of us, Lisa has tried to do it all, had her body tell her it was unhappy and been faced with the medical establishment shaking their heads in wonder. Her drive to find answers for herself are of benefit to us all. Lisa makes some interesting observations using humour and keeps her information real for women of all ages to appreciate. Detailing her personal trials is a bold move and many women will relate to one of more of them. My personal favourite is Lisa's practical advice on how to ditch our inner bitch critics!
