Good for the price
Easy to install. Does tend to slightly leak with high pressure nozzle attached to hose.

The fittings are good…
But the clamps are cheap. I broke one already. I cut the hose where I had a leak and installed this repair fitting. The hose ID is a little greater than the barbed OD of the fitting. I just pushed the fitting in by hand, so I figured the clamp would have to be fairly tight. I ended up having to tighten it with a socket, but the clamp screw let go under ‘too’ much tension. Had to use a higher quality clamp for this purpose.

Excellent product! Works exactly as advertised. Highly recommend.
Excellent product! Works exactly as advertised. Highly recommend. The metal hose clamps protrude so I would recommend covering them with neoprene "Armaflex" (Rubber Self-Seal Pipe Wrap Insulation) that you can get at any big box home store.

Strong connector, however challenging to install without leaking issues
This is a strong brass connector, but it was challenging to prevent leaks without using additional clamps (two per each side of the connection for a total of 4 per connector). Two clamps on each side need to be really tightened hard, and a normal spade screwdriver did not give enough leverage. I used a small socket (as the nuts are hexagonal), but even so, I found that the normal water pressure in a 5/8 " hose is enough to test the water-tightness of the clamp and there was a leak unless I used two clamps per side. Initially, I considered just throwing out the whole hose, but now it works fine. I suggest that this repair can be challenging to do properly, and is greatly assisted by using a socket wrench instead of a screwdriver, or leaks will be likely. In comparison, this type of connection is 10x harder to do than a Sharkbite connector used in normal plumbing lines. Too bad that Sharkbite connectors aren't designed for repairing garden hose.

Don’t fit as expected
The collars are hard to tighten due to poor quality. It doesn’t fit into a standard older garden hose, but it does on the newer ones.

The hose keeps coming off
The hose keeps coming off after few days in use. I have used extra clamp, but it still comes off. The edges are too smooth, and not enough friction to keep it connected.

Poor Clamps
As others have said very poor hose clamps. We’ll have to go to the hardware store to buy better clamps otherwise it will continue to leak. Would not recommend.
