Abide in My Word: Mass Readings at Your Fingertips Paperback – July 15, 2015

This is so handy I can't get along without it & I have bought it every year at least since 2010.I would however like it even more if it had a collect or opening prayer for every day as well.Great for travellers. All you need is this book and an Order of the Mass booklet for where ever you go in the USA (the scripture readings are from the New American Bible for Catholics - only used in the USA so far as I know - in other English speaking countries the New Revised Standard Version is used)

This is one of the handiest books I own & I use it most days. It contains all the Mass readings for every day of the year. I reviewed the 2012 version and the only thing I wanted was the addition of a Collect for every day. This would make it perfect for my daily office reading.As you can probably figure out, the scripture readings are taken the New American Bible for Catholics (not my favourite modern translation but it will do) and follow the Revised Common Lectionary with slight modifications.Money well spent for me.

The layout is clear. I love the larger print and the fact that the days follow sequentially - no trying to find the appropriate reading for the day. If I had a criticism it would be that there are no entrance antiphons, but this is small potatoes for such a good and well presented book.

I attend Mass during the week as well as the Holy Day. This book makes it easy to follow along during the readings at weekday Mass. This is the second year that I have used Abide in My Word books and it also includes the Sunday readings as well. I highly recommend this book to those who want to enrich their daily lives with the Scripture. The print is nice and big too!

I buy this every year for an elderly woman who is unable to attend Mass in person any longer. This book helps her follow along when she watches Mass on TV and makes her feel more engaged. She uses it daily. Of all the presents I give during the year, I'm not sure any provides more comfort for the recipient than this little book does for my friend.

I get this book each year. It contains daily and Sunday readings. However, there are rare occasions when there may choices of multiple readings for a date and the book may or not contain the alternate readings. But the book is excellent.

The Abide In My Word series has simplified my finding my daily lectionary readings and removed the annoying impediment of having to look three different things up in order to keep up with our group's reading schedule. Now I never miss a day.The type size is great, the print clear, the format nice on the eyes.Thanks!

It gives me joy and happiness on daily basis and keeps me .closer to the word of God. I was using both Abide in my word and Word among us in my country for more than five years before coming to USA in 2010

Disappointed that it did not include the ordinary of the mass, and also the entrance antiphon.But had all the readings of the proper part of the mass. Liked that the whole year was in one book. This is the reason to purchase it.
