The shirt itself is very stylish and made well, however the description online describes a "padded shoulder" for the shooting shoulder. The only thing that signaled a shooting shoulder was a stitched on differently colored patch, minus the padding. My husband will keep it but his shoulder is disappointed that no extra padding was added:)

I am so pleased with my new Columbia blood and guts shirt. I live in Florida and protection from the sun as well as proper clothing for the heat and humidity is paramount to survive here.The shirt is ultra lightweight with huge air vents on the arms and back. The Material allows perspiration to evaporate rather quickly so you never have that wet shirt feeling. I particularly like the roll up sleeves feature where you can quickly adjust to a short sleeve configuration giving this shooting shirt a lot more versatility.

I needed a warm-weather shirt for quail hunting in the desert. This one is nice and cool, buts snags on all the prickly things in the desert. Also, the pocket is slightly too small for my phone and for some reason the buttonhole for the pocket is horizontal, which is a nuisance but not a deal-breaker.

This is a thin lightweight shirt. I will be trying it in the fields next week where I expect it to be a great fit for warm early autumn days in New England. I have taken it into the field with my GSP working on training, although cooler, I doubt it will stand up to heavy thicked brush.

The first day I put this on I won 5 skeet shooting contests. That may have been from this shirt being so comfortable and well fitting, or it may have been from my friends' proclivity for certain refreshments all afternoon on a Saturday. Who knows? Buy one and find out for yourself.
