Extreme Pak Cooler Bag with Zip-Out Liner, Black

Upon receiving this bag, it was definitely bigger than I expected. However, it works perfectly for me because I like to pack multiple meals throughout the day.Pros:The bag looks very sturdy all around for something that only cost $20+ dollars. The two front pockets are great for holding small items like utensils, napkins, hot sauce, etc.. While side zipper pockets are mesh and could hold a good amount of items that are relatively flat. The inside has a sturdy black cooler material that is thicker than most store bought coolers I've had in the past. Inside, there is also a zipper under the lid where you could put anything relatively flat as well. I'm able to fit a small cutting board and a 3 inch parring knife. Also, it has a zip out liner where you could keep or remove the box inside. I carry 8 of those little cooler packs inside my bag and can fit up to 4 plastic containers of Rubbermaid Takealongs (6.4" x 9.8" x 3") which will stay cool throughout a 8-10 hour day depending on how often I open and close the bag. This was my experience after using it for one week at school and work where average temperatures ranged from 21-26 degrees celsius during that week.Cons:The zippers are not the best since I got them, they'll snag if zipped open too quickly. So, just got to be careful when zipping it open or it will catch on the inner lining. My biggest concern was the stitching! When I got the bag, the stitching on the handle was poorly done so some materials were already hanging out when it should have been secured. By the end of my week, I had already ripped one side of the shoulder strap where it meets the bag. I just sewed it back and reinforced it. I have cycled with this behind my back and it was getting pulled down by the weight of everything I put in there. So, be aware of the stitching since it's not reinforced, you could easily tear this thing up in a matter of no time.Overall, you get what you pay for and the design is great if you're one of those people who leave the house around 0700 and don't get home until 1800. It's just all about how you intend to use this bag. I cycle throughout the week and drive as well so I beat this thing up. Hope this helps!

UPDATED: It's been almost 4 months since I purchased the bag and I have to admit that it has held up quite well! I take it to work everyday and it is still in very good condition. I found out that the reason why my food wasn't kept cold was not because of the bag but because of my ice pack. My ice pack actually had a slight hole in it and the stuff was slowly leaking out, which eventually made the ice pack unusable. With a new ice pack the bag works great! I often go home with a half frozen ice pack. I still stick by my original review of the zipper, as it has caught a few times and might eventually start ripping soon. We'll see ...The bag is a nice size, as I can fit a medium size microwave container (8"x8"), a 20oz drink, yogurt and an ice pack, with room to spare. It's not made very sturdy nor it's it made of strong material, so I'm not sure how long it will last. For the price, I guess I cannot expect too long. It is also not very insulated, so it doesn't keep your food very cold, even with an ice pack. The zip out liner is a cheap plastic liner that cover the Styrofoam (?) insulated pads in the compartments. I read a few comments about how the zippers break easily. I've only had mine for a week, so I cannot comment on them but I can see it easily breaking. Also, you have to be very careful zipping the main compartment, as the zipper can easily snap and could rip the inside lining.

This is a very nice cooler bag. It looks so much more attractive in person than on the photos. I purchased it because I needed a black bag that could hold my lunch and my daily essentials such as wallet, keys, umbrellaand other items. Even though I had read the dimensions of the bag, I guess I didn't visualize them properly. This bag is exactly what I wanted but so huge that it won't be practical for my work lunch needs. However, I will definitely keep it because it will work marvelously as a picnic and travel cooler. It is well made and appears to be very durable. The zippers work well and the multitude of pockets provide much practical easy access storage. I can't wait to use it, though it won't be for the original intended use. Edit: after having this bag sit idle in my basement for over a year, I finally used it. I had seen the Ebags Crew Cooler as was obsessed with it, just as I was about to order it I thought, wait you have a very similar bag stored away. I went down and got it and saw that it is rather similar in design to the Crew Cooler. I immediately filled it with the items I normally take take to work. It wasn't too large at all, it was perfect. So I took it to work the next day. It works like a charm, but unfortunately is too large for my locker. It only fit when turned on end. So again, it is too large for my lunch needs unless I don't put it in the locker, but it is now used for travel food needs. For that is is perfect.
