Campbell’s Chunky Healthy Request Soup, Hearty Italian Wedding Soup with Meatballs and Spinach, 18.6 oz Can

This has a really good taste on it's own. Sure the sodium is a bit high, but have it with a side salad or fruit and you can budget the sodium % of the entire meal so that it works out ok. Besides, you can make up on the other 2 meals of the day if you feel you exceeded your limit on this meal.Want a super tasty, easy dinner ? : Pour 2 cans of this along with 1 (10.5 oz) can Campbell's condensed Vegetable Beef soup (do NOT add water) into a 9x13 baking dish. Add 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce, 1 tsp. hot sauce. Place in oven and turn on to 350 degrees. Let heat (about 10 mins.) while preparing the crust topping:Melt 1 stick butter/margarine and along with 1 cup buttermilk add to mixing bowl with 1 cup self-rising flour. Mix these 3 ingredients until no lumps remain. Remove baking dish from oven and evenly pour the dough topping covering most of the soup surface. It's NOT necessary to go to the very edge of the baking dish - mixture will spread when cooking.Bake for approx. 1 hour or until golden brown. (Ovens vary, you know yours best)When done, remove and top with 8oz. bag of shredded cheddar cheese, or grate your own 8oz. block.Pop back in oven for 5 mins. or so and remove. Let sit for 5 mins and you got yourself a winner !

I have been eating Campbell's soup since I was a kid and the quality and taste has remained consistent throughout the years. I feel like this Campbell's Condensed Chicken Noodle Soup is a great bargain compared to a lot of other canned soups. The portion size is just right for me and I find a serving to be very filling.

I get the same comment every time i make this, " This is the best beef roast I've ever eaten!"I line the bottom of the crockpot with 1 sliced up onion. I dust the chuck or shoulder roast in flour, then braise it on all sides, with salt, pepper, onion and a little garlic powder. I put it on the onions, and put 1 tsp Better Than Bouillion broth mixed with 1/2 c water, and mix it with one can Beefy Mushroom concentrate. I pour it over the roast, slow cooking it for 8 to 9 hours, even when I'm using a frozen roast.When done, I take the liquid out, strain it and make a flour slurry for gravy. I serve it with mashed potatoes.The roast is sooo tender and delicious.

SO here is the thing. The SOUP- as far as the quality, the single serving portion , the "body" and the quality of the meat and other ingredients is very good, NO complaints. This soup WOULD be pretty tasty.... so what they have done here rather than use ghost peppers in an amount which would give their soup HEAT and make it taste nice- they put in- on purpose, what most people even those who love very spicy food, korean food etc would consider too much almost like they just are doing it to show off. Like it could be added in a concentration that makes this hot like shin ramyun, with the taste of ghost pepper but in this case they went with "ghost pepper heat level challenge". That isnt inherently bad because this soup has its uses. You can use it to see how tolerant you are, I had no problem with the soup, it isnt "pain" level, its just sort of , generic "hot pepper" flavor to the point where you cant really taste much else, even though actually the broth has a nice overall body to it. Its hotter than something like Shin Ramyun- its more in the "samyang 2x spicy" kind of category if you had to compare it to a ramen but in my opinion samyang kind of does better with making the flavors match.So TO SUM UP The soup is basically a decent chicken noodle with a "challenge level" of ghost pepper essence added to it, ignoring any accompaniment or context. It isnt offensive, and it could be really good if it were more balanced. I dont think I would bother getting it again but I would NOT SAY not to try it- if for no other reason than maybe youd like it more than me and I dont want to deny you- but thats my take on it. I am actually happy to see them TRYING to make some compelling products even if its mostly a meme at least they are trying. I am sure there are plenty of people out there who LOVE this because they've never had a soup this hot and they felt disappointed with all the weak ass "spicy" foods out there, but if youre not easily impressed by just heat level- dont expect the world.

I had been purchasing another brand soup like this at $15.00/can, which was too pricey. I found that Campbells made this particular soup and was delighted to try it. i purchased 6-cans. I cook two cans at a time, adding a can of garbanzo beans to the mix. I also pan fried a few ounces of ham steak, cut it into small pieces and added this ingredient to the soup. I cook this mix on the stove for about 20-minutes until it is really, really hot - boiling hot. I then heat up portions on the stove in a sauce pan and have small bowl of this soup every other day. What I like about Campbells is that I can add extra ingredients as I see fit, the extra garbanzo beans and ham help a lot. As a child of the 1950s, I was raised on Campbells soup, in addition to my Norwegian mom's homemade soups.

C,mon Amazon. Get your shippers in order. Hard to find Soup and was happy to find it on amazon. (10) cans left Jacksonville FL on Jan 4th. I live 2 hours south in FL. Package first went to Tulsa OK,than Texas, than Georgia than back to Jacksonville and arrived today 5 days later and a bunch of dented cans. Not packed very well but the seal doesnt seem to be broken. What I wont do for this soup...lol. Again GREAT SOUP....lousy shipping.

tastes like crap but you can live on it

I got these at $1.27 per can. Less than I’ve seen anyone else. Delivered so fast, and arrived when I happened to get sick. What a lifesaver, I was craving soup so bad being sick. I love this soup because the chicken is really plentiful and it’s all good white meat chicken. Sometimes I add corn just because I love corn.

Its only for 1 can of soup. Not 6 or 12. Scam
