We have had such a blast with this face paint! I ordered it thinking it would be great for parties, moms club activities, and just playing around with my kids. Our first try was for me to paint my three years old's face up like a tiger and then wait until my husband got home. When he got here, my three year old jumped out from behind my van to growl at him and scare him with his tiger face! The kids had so much fun. I've included a photo of my first time face painting job, not the greatest but worked out for the first time. Hopefully my face painting skills will improve! My son is certainly happy to be a model while I paint him! The brush in the set is much higher quality than I was expecting. It is very soft, fine hair and feels very smooth against skin. So much so that my toddler had a hard time sitting still from all of the tickles. This paint did not leave any discoloration on his skin and did not cause any kind of redness or reaction. It did not have any smell and did not get crusty and hard causing cracks like I have seen some places. There are instructions on the back of the case so that you don't put water into the individual cakes. You are supposed to dip your brush into the water first and then into the cakes. I did this and tried to use the water as sparingly as possible so as to preserve the quality of the color cakes. They are in rectangular plastic boxes which snap into the larger case. The brush fits inside as well, and then the lid closes. Great quality and tons of fun for my kids! I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest opinion.

This product is of great quality. With most kits you receive a sub-par brush. I bought these because my daughter and her friend are really into face and body painting. My daughter is also in love with rainbows and this palette was perfect. They were grateful that it came with a paintbrush. They also really liked that each color was removable from the tray. It made it a lot easier to share the palate. Overall I really recommend this.
