I've been struggling to make my Land Cruiser do too many things...Hardcore offroader (Moab hard trails for example), tow at max capacity (camper around 6500 lbs), comfortable on the road, Family hauler duties, etc.Awhile back, I ditched the mechanical fan to go to dual high-capacity spal fans in a shroud. This worked amazingly well at keeping the coolant and AC cool while offroad, even in Moab when it's 110 degrees outside. Unfortunately, when we bought a camper, we realized that the dual electric fans weren't able to keep the engine cool when towing in the mountains of Colorado.I decided to go to a hybrid electric/mechanical fan setup which I HOPE solves my heat issues. I had to trim about 1/2 inch off of the electric fan shroud (see above photo), but that allowed me to mount this fan on the inside of the shroud blowing out into the engine bay. This fan, being a pusher, will pull from behind the shroud and assist the mechanical fan at low engine RPMs. It's low profile enough that even though the shroud is only 2 and 1/4 inches thick now, this fan fits inside and doesn't hit the radiator.It does NOT move an epic amount of air (my previous Spal fans were much stronger in this regard) but it should work fine at low-load situations (such as idle). If you're looking for something super low-profile, this fan is ideal.

Used these as pusher fans to mount on a mishimoto radiator for my car and they worked out great.

Perfect for my 1972 Chevrolet Vega
I used it for a custom installation on my A/C condenser in front of the core support on the Vega. It is wired to both the A/C pump and a temp switch in the cooling system. It keeps the car cool in the Las Vegas summer heat. Check out installation instructions on my YouTube channel @BurnoutsAndRotorblades.
