I bought this in June 2018 for $14.99 and paid full price (no discounts or freebies). As I review products if the product works as is advertised and the quality is in line with the price then I give it five stars tentatively, then deduct stars for usability problems, functionality problems, flaws, quality, etc. I give this product 5 stars because they work as designed, have no evident flaws, seem to be of high quality and have a very competitive and fair price.I have a 21 foot Sea Doo, seven person boat. I needed a heavy set of wheel chocks for this, and appreciated the thorough reviews others have left.These are heavy duty blocks. They hold the boat in place. They aren't 100% solid, but very nearly so. They are easy to pick up--not slippery, even when wet.As for the smell, they do have a stereotypical "rubber" smell. It does dissipate after a while, but so far hasn't completely gone to zero. Not a bid deal at all,since, they are outside.

Make sure to check the dimensions on these. They are pretty small for wheel chocks. I don't know that I would trust a regular size car/truck with these, although I think they would be fine in most cases.I use them for my 12x6 enclosed trailer and they work great. Small and easy to store, and they fit well around the trailer tires to keep it from moving. They are solid rubber except for a hollow part to make them lighter. They grip really really well, absolutely no issues with them.Yes they smell like rubber! What do you expect from a rubber product? This is not a defect of this particular item, any rubber wheel chock will smell when you get them.

I bought these in order to safely conduct oil changes and other minor car repairs that require me to get under the vehicle - I ended up opting for these over less expensive brands because of the "Heavy Duty Rubber" construction (figured plastic ones would slip on my epoxy-sealed garage floor) - and let me tell you, boy do they work. I forgot to remove them when I was done with my girlfriend's oil change, and when she went to back out of the garage the car wouldn't move. Seriously solid construction, I feel very safe working under my cars with them. I ended up buying 4, as I like to chock the front and back of both wheels on the ground during oil changes - might be overkill, but it might save me some early funeral costs I suppose.The ONLY thing that I dislike about these is that they stink to high hell! I have these stored in my garage within a storage cabinet - my entire garage has a faint rubber smell, and the storage cabinet smells like it's made entirely of rubber. I'm sure this will dissipate over time, but dang do they smell!As long as you store them outside, you cannot go wrong with these. Don't hesitate, just go ahead and get them now.EDIT: After about 2-3 weeks of sitting in my storage cabinet, the strong odors have finally started to dissipate. I thought that this would take longer due to the intense odors, but the scent is barely noticeable now. Great product!!!

These seem to be doing the job and working well for our small 6ft enclosed trailer. Sturdy and dont slide. Just glad they are outside. The smell is powerful. It like smelling a new tire on steroids. Have had them a month and outside. Through a few rains and hot and coolish cycles. Still and smelling as ever. lol But being outside it hasn't been an issue. If using them in a garage, I might not like them as much. 1st day of opening, I left them in garage room. The next day the whole room smelled. But went away quickly once I took them outside to use them. Would buy again if need and used outside. Time will tell on durability, but for the last 2 months or so they have worked.

these are very sturdy wheel blocks. An object and rest tends to stay at rest. Make sure this is so when you are jacking your car. Easy to use and adds an extra element of safety to your car repairs.

It's rubber, it's going to smell. Rated 3/5 just because I was asked. Kept them outside to minimize anything else getting their stank. They were a little smaller width wise than I had to expected, so maybe an issue with bigger tires, but great for what's on my Veloster Turbo. I waited to write this for a few months so I could give an honest review. Smell, which I could care less about, has dissipated over the weeks. They keep the car in place just like they should. Pulled into my garage at one point and accidentally hit one and it stopped the car immediately. Luckily I was going really slow. Overall, great buy for the price. Very good quality and sturdy. If you have larger tires, though, I would not recommend them. I don't feel the smaller size could hold them effectively.

These were a bit smaller than expected, but still do the job. Better than plastic ones!

The rubber on these is very thick and heavy duty. These are not hard like the cheap plastic ones, the rubber is very firm but they will still bounce some when thrown on the ground. Being rubber instead of plastic, these compress some when under the tire giving them much better grip than plastic ones would so the vehicle has a much lesser chance of rolling. I love them! I have used them a ton and they still look brand new. I have never experienced the smell others are talking about. Sure, they smell like rubber when you put them to your nose, but I didn't buy them to use as Kleenex. Why are people sniffing something that's made to stop your car from rolling? I don't get it. These have never left my 2 car garage since I've owned them and there is no weird smell in my garage, so I guess I got lucky? If I were to lose these or need another set for any reason, there is no question that these are the ones I would buy again! Best set I've ever had by far!

Wheel chocks work as expected. A little smaller than anticipated, but work just fine for my trailer.All these reviews about the smell… yes, they’re stinky out of the box! Unless you’re using them inside, don’t worry about it! I can’t smell them in the driveway
