the double crescent style is great for getting brazil nuts open, and the teeth are cut super deep and really grab the nuts well. This is much better than the oxo or the cheap style you get in the supermarket. Also, the OXO hinge started to loosen after a couple pounds of brazil nuts but this I have gone through 10 lbs and is still is smooth. I believe this company makes only nut crackers, corkscrews and a few other items so they focus on doing only like 5 things well.The shipping is direct from germany and takes like a month, but worth the wait.

I love a solid tool! Well made. Looks nice. Good weight. The holes are a tad too big to squeeze pistachios, though. I would have to balance it just right on the ridge, to crack a small nut. Wish the smaller hole is a bit smaller.

I love it!...it's so practical to crack hazelnuts, almonds, pecans,...if you just want to relax on the sofa and crack your nuts!...lol ...or you just wanna add some nuts to your baked goods or cooked food it is a very nice piece of german design and manufacturing... durable and nice looking. not for industrial use.

Reminds me of the nutcracker my mother brought from Germany in 1958. Excellent weight; fits well in hand. Leverage allows larger nuts to be opened with ease.

This product was what I had been looking for. I was so glad that I found this an could get it before Christmas. It will make a great Christmas gift for anyone that love's to eat nuts.

Highly recommended does the job perfectly and looks great. Well made, strong & what’s more does the job 100% effectively. Unlike all the other cheap rubbish out there. When it comes to nutcrackers believe me when I say don’t buy cheap they tend to break and I’m speaking from experience here. With nutcrackers you get what you pay for. So don’t scrimp. These are worth every penny. Recommended purchase.

Simple, elegant design that works. Have used it daily for about a month now to crack walnuts, hazelnuts and almonds without trouble. It is expensive, but very well made and will hopefully last us a lifetime.

These are completly amazing......simply soooo much better that the last 4 nutcrackers I have brought in the last 6 months. Even almonds are easily crackable! Worth the extra cost, which shows up in the excellant quality and action,

Expensive for what it is. Doesn't actually seem very strong and so compared to the cheaper ones, which actually are quite strong, this one does not represent value for money, although it looks nicer than the cheaper ones.
