Prenatal Vitamin with 800 mg Folic Acid!
Before I actually review this product I must address what appears to be misinformation in some of the other reviews I have read.I do not understand how anyone could say this product does not have 800 mg of Folic Acid, as that is what is listed on the label's ingredients listing and there is no way the FDA would have approved this product unless the stated amount was accurate.Unless they received a different item than I did, it makes me wonder why anyone would write a review that states they have less than 800 mgs. listed in the ad and on the label. That being said, I accepted the opportunity to receive this product in return for my unbiased and honest review, not due to pregnancy, but because I am a very poor eater and my physician has suggested that I would get a greater benefit from a prenatal vitamin than I would from taking regular vitamins.I have a sensitive stomach and am happy to report that I have Not had any digestive issues with Happy Healthy Smart's Prenatal Vitamins.I have been taking these Prenatal Vitamins for about a week now and can already feel the benefits of replacing the minerals, nutrients and vitamins my body is lacking due to my bad eating habits.I am not found of swallowing pills, but these capsules go down easily and with the high amount of minerals, vitamins and nutrients they contain, I only have to take one pill a day to reap the benefits.Yes I need to learn to eat better, but it is nice to know that until I change my eating habits, I am able to rely on Happy Healthy Smart TM's Prenatal Vitamins to keep me healthy.Fast shipping and excellent order follow up contributed to my 5 star rating. If you are expecting or just a poor eater like myself, I highly recommend these Prenatal Vitamins One A Day Multivitamins and the company who is offering them.

honest ingredients - much better than generic
Before taking this, I was taking CVS' brand of prenatal vitamins. CVS' brand says they have 100% vitamin D, but after taking it for months I had my vitamin D checked (which really matters when you are trying to get pregnant) and my levels were very low. Needless to say, that brand is crap. That brand also says they have 200% vitamin C, but when I switched to Happy Healthy (which has 100% vitamin C), after taking the first one my urine was bright yellow, meaning that I was getting enough. With the previous brand, my urine was very light to clear. So, I think I was taking a pointless vitamin before buying this one. So far I really like Happy Healthy Prenatals, and I take them with the Happy Health DHA. The prenatal multi-vitamin has a strong odor (but don't really good vitamins always stink? ha) and the DHA pill is enormous (bigger than my Glucophage, if you know the size of those), but I don't have a problem swallowing pills so it's ok. The main point of my review is this: I truly believe what they say is in these pills IS actually in these pills, and that's all I ask.

Gets the job done without feeling more sick
Prior to becoming pregnant, I had negative experiences with vitamins containing too much iron. I'm in my first trimester and feeling nauseous/sick in my stomach constantly, so I wanted a prenatal vitamin with no iron. I take a vitamin and prenatal DHA with dinner and don't feel more sick than usual. I think these vitamins do make me feel a bit better by the time morning arrives -- which is a bonus!! My goal was to get the needed nutrients without being so sick that I can't function - goal accomplished! I have not taken any other brands of prenatal vitamins, so I can't compare to how I would have felt with another type.

NO DHA :( (you have to buy separately for $20)
I was so constipated with previous prenatals and this is the only one so far that isn't constipating. But 2 things make me unhappy1. NO DHA. Which is REALLY important for baby's brain and eye development. Instead you have to fork out $20 to get the DHA ones. This is quite scary to think of many pregnant women taking these vitamins thinking that they are getting all they need, but then neglecting to read the fine print.2. Folic acid is a little less than I would like. I guess I need to eat strawberries everyday to supplement.Other than that I was pretty happy with these pills.

It has 800 mcg of folic acid
This is by far the best prenatal vitamin on the market. I have tried several different brands and this one is the best. It's all made from high quality ingredients. Not only does it have vitamins but minerals all needed for mom and baby. One thing it does have that most others don't is 800 mcg of folic acid. Most don't have that much. This one does. It doesn't upset my stomach either. Others I had to take at night to avoid an upset stomach. It also doesn't cause constipation which is a big plus. It's easy to swallow. I love that it's only one pill a day too. I am extremely happy with this product and will continue to use it.*I received this item in exchange for an unbiased and truthful review*

The size isn't bad and it's once a day with all those nutrients ...
Been using these vitamins my whole pregnancy and haven't had any issues. I haven't thrown them up or been sick after taking them. They do stink but most vitamins do. The size isn't bad and it's once a day with all those nutrients packed in. So far at 20 weeks my baby healthy and that's all I care about. There has even been a little bit of hair growth surprisingly since there's only 5% biotin in them. I hate that I need to take a iron tablet separate but I can't use that to bring down the rating since it does state it's iron free. Have ordered twice the whole pregnancy and about to order a third next week

Highly recommend. My baby was healthy, I was healthy & I avoided common ailments by taking this consistently.
Highly recommend. Used throughout my pregnancy, stayed healthy & my baby is healthy. I'm still using as I want to avoid getting colds & I found that last winter whilst I was pregnant I only got 1 cold whilst taking this (& that cold was due to being stuck outside in a snow storm for 45mins on the way home from work without appropriate clothes). My husband didn't take any multivitamins and he was sick at least 4 times, including a severe cold/flu - all of which I managed to avoid - and believe this was the reason.Love the non-iron formula! I also tried the GNC non-iron option & this was better.
