Unique product!
This window stay is perfect for fitting on a casement window when installing secondary glazing. When the height of the frame makes it impossible to use the standard window stay this was the only product I could find to do the job. Initially I am fitting them in our bathroom and kitchen and the solid and heavy weight stainless steel construction should resist rusting in these humid areas. A well made product at a good price which I am considering fitting on my other windows.

Almost perfect
Really good quality , only thing I the locking screw is flat at the end and doesn't fit into the locating hole which meant with a gust of wind it still blew open , I added a slight point to the screw with my grinding wheel now it fits perfectly . Used on large Velux widowns and work a treat now .

Retro fit
I retro fitted these on UPVC windows that had no friction staysThe do the job well but the knurled wheel lock is difficult to undo if you over tighten it and your hands are a bit slippery but I would recommend them

Well made with fine adjustments possible.
Well made. Nice locking feature. Not sure it would hold a very big window is caught by wind but for smaller modern windows it is very good and allows opening in small increments. Nicely finished. NB delivery time turning into 3 weeks rather than than the initial 5 is the reason for deducting one star.
