ClamCase Pro for iPad Air, Incipio ClamCase Pro Bluetooth Keyboard [100 Hour Playtime] for iPad Air - Black/Smoke

This is my second Clam Case for my iPad Air. The first I ordered directly from Clam Case when they first came out almost two years ago. It was fine, except as others have stated in reviews, the holes were too small for the power connector and earphone. It also was white which I didn't really care for. It worked for the most part except periodically it would not connect and I would have to tell Bluetooth to forget the device and restart it. So I was a bit apprehensive about ordering another one and had been using a number of different keyboards but none had the feel of the Clamcase. I ordered a black one, which I like the looks of much better and have been using it now for a couple of weeks...a lot. I have found nothing that I don't like about it. They have corrected the ill fitting hole for the power plug. Goes right in. And they have given you an extension cable for the earplug. Not a big deal for me since I don't use the earphone that much on my iPad. I love the way you can rotate the screen back 360 degrees and use like a tablet or rotate about 270 degrees and use like it's on a stand. I've had zero problems with the keyboard and it connects every time, no problem. All in all, having used at least 5 other keyboards (my wife calls me the keyboard King) this is by far my favorite. I especially like the extra surface it gives you to rest your palms on. My hands never get tired typing on it.

I absolutely love having a keyboard for my IPad, especially one that folds back. However, with that said, I have not had much luck with the ClamCase Pro. This purchase will be my third and last ClamCase. I purchased my first ClamCase from another retail store in January of 2015. By June, the case began to show cracks near the hinges. I had never dropped the case and keep it in a protective bag when not using it. Eventually pieces of the case broke off closest to the hinges. And the frame began to pop out. Because I was still within the warranty period, Insipio sent me a new ClamCase Pro, but indicated that this one would not be covered by warranty. Recently, I accidentally dropped the case; the on/off button fell off and the frame bent. And, since it was not warranted, I didn't contact the company. The good news was that my IPad remained undamaged.To recap, I just thought that the case would be a lot more durable than it is. Luckily, the price has dropped more than 50 dollars from my original purchase. I did a lot of research before I took the plunge and purchased the third ClamCase Pro. There just isn't any other case out there like it so I decided better to have a case that meets my needs than buy another type that I won't be happy with.I am hoping the manufacturer will fix the fatal flaws and truly make the product worth the investment. My only advice is to handle the case with care!

I've had several of these over the last few years. Replaced a Zagg keyboard (which had the unfortunate characteristic of rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrepeattingggggg keys like this, with no ability to adjust the settings. Clamcase works like a champ, and makes the iPad what I want it to be -- a nearly complete replacement for my work laptop. Sometimes loses connection with my iPad overnight ... other than that, it's perfect ... I'm a touch typist, and have had no issue converting to this keyboard. I despise using the tap keyboad on the iPad display.Best thing about it (other than the other best things already mentioned) ... it makes the iPad stand upright on my desk or table. Very flexible and adjustable.

I love this case! Not much for protection BUT I needed my iPad to substitute as a laptop in my work environment and this made it flawless. Everyone constantly asks "oh upgraded to an airbook." Which in turn leads them to purchasing this before I leave their office. Easy to pair, sleek design and holds a charge FOREVER! I've had this a few months, charged it out of the box, and haven't charged it since. Actually probably need to now just to be sure. I'm blown away.

So I ordered this case for my iPad Air and thought it was flawed because the volume keys didn't align, so I ordered another. Well, same darn thing. I LOVE the idea of this case, but it's worthless if everything don't line up. Last but not least, the off volume symbol is always in the middle of the screen because of the poor fit. Ugh.....

This is really a great way to turn your iPad into a mini laptop. The keyboard easily pairs with the iPad via Bluetooth. The charge on the keyboard last for months! The case is light, yet hard and provides great protection. Worth every penny!

What a worthless piece of plastic. I'm shocked that this company is still in business with the low quality their products have. The buttons don't match up on the iPad, which is a massive flaw in the engineering...

Excellent case for an iPad. This case allows me to travel without taking my Macbook Pro, and I love having that flexibility. Great, great product, and very easy to use... I had it set up within minutes and needed almost no instruction. I would (and have, actually) recommend this to anyone and everyone!
