I LOVE my chilipad sleep system!!! Thus, I’m happy to have it working clean on the inside. This product is easy to use and has a light fragrance that does not linger. Since I had been without the cleaner for 4 months, I did two rounds to get things spiffy inside the tubes. Worked great. I did look up the YouTube options for DIY explanations of how to use the packets. I didn’t want to risk damaging my chilli pad! It’s a bit expensive, but the chilipad is an investment that I want to maintain, worth it.

This is the OEM cleaner for the Ooler and Chilipad sleep systems. It's pretty easy to use, you just tear the seal and pour it into the unit, and then run the cleaning cycle. I have yet to have a package of these leak in shipping or anything. They are solid. We have 2 Ooler units in the house, and I find it slightly annoying that you can only buy this in packs of 3. I wish they made it so you can get a few more pack sizes, but I know why they do this. There is no real 'smell' to the solution, and that's ok by me. I do not tend to drain my Ooler units as often as recommended, but I do try to use only distilled water and these cleaning packets in the system every month. I do feel like they are a bit pricey for what you get, but I haven't found a suitable alternative.

SEE UPDATE BELOW! KRYO has a new formulation with strong perfume. Ordered this 6/23/21. The perfume permeates the entire chili pad and everything in contact or near contact to the chili pad. I didn’t sleep all night after cleaning my chili pad due to intense perfume smell all around me. I had to remove and drain the unit and pad several times, while running several cleaning cycles with distilled water through the pad, draining it each time. I had to wash the chili pad and all my sheets, mattress protector, blankets, pillow, and pillowcase before I could rid my surroundings of this strong smell. I am requesting a refund and will contact the company to inquire how I will now be able to clean my pad without a cleaner if this is all they have available. I’ve had my pad for years and cleaned it with the “old” solution monthly without any problems. I can’t imagine why they added so much perfume to their formulation. Update 7/4/21: I called the company and they are thinking the cleaner I got was a bad run and that they had actually reduced the perfume in the new formula. They are sending me new packets and were extremely responsive to me. I have always had great experiences with customer service. Changing to 5 stars because of their response and helpfulness.
